The Sossus Oasis Camp Site opened in May 2010 and offers shaded individual sites, each with its own toilet, basin, hot/cold shower, barbeque, kitchen wash-up facility, multi electricity outlets and lights. Within walking distance to a fully stocked shop for ice cold drinks, ready-made food, BBQ packs, ice, groceries, toiletries and everything you may have forgotten to bring. Fuel Station, tyre repairs, internet cafe and the restaurant of Sossusvlei Lodge withing short walking distance. Enjoy the magnificent views from your paved veranda or relax in the sparkling pool situated in the centre of the campsite. Treasure the ambience of the Namib Desert - under the star studded skies, to the tune of the barking gecko and far cry of a jackal.
