And so it continues…

Amazing Blue Marlin bite which has been absolutely insane since May and all the way into winter and beyond.

Well done to and to .incharlie for an incredible day yesterday getting the young lads 4 fish including two for _tristan_saunders_, pulled the hook on another and had 7 up in total.

Joshua also reported some good action on smaller Black Marlin between 100 to 300 pounds the last few days in the shallower water of V Mile!

Might it continue for these special months to come…

We at guest farm fly fishing for trout & a great time with my Dudas who is on a mid-term break. Then to PE for sea trials on the new boat and back on the 29th to start the season on the 3rd!

1 from 3 and raised another one on Blue Marlin

Last day for Bruce & Katherine Winson, great couple who have game fished with us many times over the years. This time and after a low start yesterday mid morning we decided to go out wide and pulled the hook on a small fish right of the bat, then released a feisty, hard digging non jumper #350 for Katherine’s first ever Marlin, straight after had another decent fish miss the long right and on way back still had a fourth fish peel of 50 yards but not finding steel.

We had not been out there for while but pretty impressive to see as many fish right in peak of winter - hopefully good sign for things to come as water heats up!

The Stubby Tube from Pulsator doing the trick again…

Its special out there at the moment and not just for the Blue Marlin. The Ocean as been flat calm, there are whales and dolphins all over. Yesterday as we got stuck into some big skipjack tuna we had humpback whales going crazy right on out port, spinner dolphins on our bow and large pod of bottle-nose dolphins on the starboard side.

Incredible stuff!!!

After some amazing days with the family at Linene earlier in the month we where treated to a very special helicopter ride home with compliments of

What an amazing finish to the week with some absolute magnificent sightings, not only of this breathtaking peninsula and archipelago but also of marble, devil and stingray’s (one of which with a massive trevally school around them), humpback dolphins and countless turtles.

Nice to see the humpback whales back in full swing!

The boys (Kai & Duarte) went down the beach in front of the house at high tide with the little baby ultra light spinning rod to catch garfish and caught the first ever bonnie off the beach there - and where brave enough to have it for dinner…

And, we had a great day with the Martinez brothers, fishing was hard but great guys and a good time and as always special barbecue lunch on the boat.

Amazing family time @ Linene…

After releasing 3 Marlin, the first of which at 6 years old, Dudas finally (and after losing one the previous day) released his first Sailfish. He certainly as got his priorities right!

But so much fun all around… with amazing weather, snorkeling and just chilling at such a special and exquisite spot !

We only fished a few hours late afternoon everyday and got into some really nice action.

Some incredible Yellowfin Tuna action the first afternoon with quadruple and quintuple hookup’s and the second afternoon some amazing wahoo action at sunset with little Dario being unlucky to loose a real nice one right by the boat to finish of another amazing day!

Started from beautiful Linene today on good ship Strenue and got a fish for Andrew Gillespie.

We lost our Stubby tube last week on a fish that turned on us but the great people at sent us replacments pretty fast, rigged the new one last night and bang, 10 minutes into it this morning she hooked up…AGAIN! And, raised the second fish!

Bit of a blow tomorrow but back at it on Saturday.
