Huvadhoo Aid

Our Chief Advisor, Imad Mohamed - James, participated in the Asia GEF-9 Planning Workshop in Vientiane, Lao PDR, where he raised concerns regarding SGP implementation in the Maldives. We also welcome GEF’s decision to increase funding by 30% for LDCs and SIDS

Building on what has already been achieved, we are currently planning Phase 1B of the Hoadedhoo Nature Park Project—the next step in strengthening the park as a space for mangrove conservation, environmental education, community engagement and nature-based experiences.

Wishing all Muslims around the world a blessed, peaceful and joyful Eid.

Our Director of Administration and Finance, Arysh Abdulla participated in the 2025 Juncao Technology Workshop held from 11–21 May 2026 in Fuzhou, China, organized by the 21st-Century Maritime Cooperation Committee.

Our Chief Advisor Imad Mohamed - James participated in the General Assembly of the Global South NGO Platform, held on 14 May 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan, representing Huvadhoo Aid.

Warmest greetings to the public and to all those who support Huvadhoo Aid.
Thank you for your trust, partnership, and commitment to building resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities.

We look forward to continuing this journey together in 2026 — for a better Huvadhoo Atoll and a better future for all.
