When modernity pulls us away from source, life begins to harden into one pattern.

One way of building.
One way of mind.
One way of moving.
One way of living.

To gravitate back to belonging, we return to what we all share. Nature, and the creativity to heal our relationship with it.

For , that return is shaped through architecture that is conscious of context, sensitive to place, and rooted in materials chosen with care. Spaces and buildings that reconnect people with the natural world through education, emotion and play.

Our growing understanding of Blue Lagoon and Comino’s landscape extends beyond the terrestrial, into its coastline, its seabed and the waters that surround it.

On , , and reflect on our close collaboration. Through Project Icarus, their work using drones and AI to map Malta’s coastline is detecting debris and building toward the ability to model and predict marine waste both underwater and along the shore. Alongside their continued efforts to clean up our coastlines and seas, this feeds directly into a wider and more sensitive understanding of the place and how it must be approached with the utmost care.

“This is a conversation. This is sharing of experiences, taking these different experiences from people and trying to integrate them to a common vision.”


Open conversations with environmental NGOs are where we listen, learn and look more closely at the places we work within. Each conversation feeds into a wider understanding of place, informing how sensitively and thoughtfully we approach the Blue Lagoon rehabilitation.
