Xogħlijiet fuq Bankini Ġodda f’Marsaskala / New Pavement Works
​Bħalissa għaddejjin xogħlijiet ta’ bankini ġodda fi Triq il-Katakombi, b’kollaborazzjoni bejn il-Kunsill Lokali ta’ Marsaskala u Public Works Department Malta
​Dawn ix-xogħlijiet qed isiru biex intejbu l-infrastruttura, l-aċċessibbiltà, u s-sigurtà għar-residenti tagħna. Nitolbu l-koperazzjoni tagħkom waqt li jkunu għaddejjin dawn ix-xogħlijiet u niskużaw ruħna għal kwalunkwe inkonvenjent temporanju.
​Pavement reconstruction works are currently underway in Triq il-Katakombi, carried out jointly by the Marsaskala Local Council and the Public Works Department
​This project aims to improve pedestrian accessibility and safety for our community. We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any temporary inconvenience.

Date: Friday 9th October 2026.
Time: 17:15hrs – Onwards.
Road closure: Piazza Dun Tarcis Agius.
Diversion: Route buses will have to divert straight to TRIQ SALINI (Jerma area) without serving MARSAKALA CHURCH and ZONQOR.
Check if there are any other active diversions in the area.

Bus stops affected: 452 Iskal, 453 Harruba, 454 Sengle, 6398 Buzbiez, 6432 Blajjiet, 1669 Batterija, 1670 Zonqor, 1671 Sdieri, 1672 Ghawwiema, 6531 Marija, 6532 Anna, 1674 Tarcis, 450 Bianco.

ROUTE 124 MARSASKALA DIVERSION
Date: Friday 9th October 2026.
Time: 17:15hrs – Onwards.
Road closure: Piazza Dun Tarcis Agius.
Diversion to Marsaskala: Route buses will have to divert from Marsaskala Bypass without serving ZABBAR and ZONQOR.
Diversion to Zabbar: Follow the same diversion. Using as starting point MARSASKALA BYPASS.

Bus stops affected are: 442/462 mediatrici, 443 Bajjada, 461 Baruni, 460 Santwarju, 2264 Lawrenz 444/459 Hamra, 445/458 Maggi, 446/457 gharghar, 447/456 Gwakkin 1669 Batterija, 1670 Zonqor, 1671 Sdieri, 1672 ghawwiema, 1673 Polo1674 Tarcis, 450 Bianco, 452 isk, 453 Harruba, 454 Sengle, 6398 Buzbiez 460 Santwarju, 461 Baruni.

ROUTES 119, 135 MARSASKALA DIVERSION
Date: Friday 9th October 2026.
Time: 17:15hrs – Onwards.
Road closure: Piazza Dun Tarcis Agius.
Diversion from Marsaskala going towards Zejtun (Click): Route buses will have to divert straight up through MARSASKALA BY-PASS then turn left by the WASTESERVE and proceed along the road leading back to TRIQ ID-DAHLA TA SAN TUMAS to continue as the normal route to ZEJTUN.

Bus stops effected: Iskal (452), Harruba (453), Bianco (450), Vajrita (1528), Xmiel (1529), Grigal (1530), Xehda (1531), Ashby (1532), Qaws (1533), Mahsel (1534), Bajja (1535), Noqra (1536), Vahla (1537), Mamo (1538), Basli (6222), Strejnu (1539)

ROUTE 92 MARSASKALA DIVERSION
Date: Friday 9th October 2026.
Time: 17:15hrs – Onwards.
Road closure: Piazza Dun Tarcis Agius.
Diversion to Marsaskala: Route bus 92 coming from MARSASKALA BY-PASS will have to divert straight to TRIQ IL-QALIET and doing the loop to ST THOMAS BAY as per route 91. The journey will terminate at MARSASKALA INTERCHANGE without serving ZONQOR. The return journeys to VALLETTA will depart from MARSASKALA INTERCHANGE and will proceed straight to the BY-PASS towards FGURA.

ROUTES 93, 204 MARSASKALA DIVERSION
Date: Friday 9th October 2026.
Time: 17:15hrs – Onwards.
Road closure: Piazza Dun Tarcis Agius.
Diversion: At MARSASKALA route buses have to divert straight from the BY-PASS onto TRIQ IL-QALIET without entering and serving TRIQ SANT ANNA and TRIQ IX-XATT.

Bus stops affected: 452 Iskal, 453 Harruba, 450 Bianco.

ROUTES 91, N91 MARSASKALA DIVERSION
Date: Friday 9th October 2026.
Time: 17:15hrs – Onwards.
Road closure: Piazza Dun Tarcis Agius.
Diversion: Route buses going to MARSASKALA have to divert at ‘Agatha Barbara’ roundabout in ZABBAR by turning right onto TRIQ IS-SANTWARJU passing by ZABBAR church and proceed to MARSASKALA through the BY-PASS. On the return journey towards VALLETTA route buses will have to divert straight through the BY-PASS towards FGURA without serving ZABBAR.
