Advice for passengers:
Although there is due to be an ATM machine in the new terminal in Antigua it is not yet functional. Some payments at check in have to be in cash as credit cards cannot currently be processed.

More info on the new terminal in Antigua ..... please be advised that facilities are limited.
Landside - there is only a small counter selling coffee and a few cakes. The little cafe by the taxi rank in the old terminal is still open as well as the old Big Banana.
The ATM is not yet installed, there is no info desk and nowhere to buy anything. To come is a sushi bar and a Subway.

Airside (in departures) - Big Banana has a counter selling pizzas (which have to be sent over from the old terminal) and drinks and snacks. There is nowhere to get a proper meal. Big Banana proper is due to be operational in January.
Rocky's booze and ci**rs is all set up and there is duty free and the same big gift shop which has come over from the old terminal.
Colombian Emeralds is there and a couple of other small shops.
There is a Johnny Walker bar due to open and another large bar/cafe. About 15 of the concessions have not been let yet so things are limited.

Antigua new terminal - the check-in desk for FlyMontserrat for September is Number 3! But please check the screen for departures when you enter the terminal just in case of any changes.

In the new terminal in Antigua - currently the only place to eat ground-side is a Big Banana counter with very limited snacks - but the oasis of Big Banana in the old terminal is still open and is going to stay operating until January. If passengers have a long wait at Antigua airport, please bear in mind that you can find it in the old terminal upstairs.

FlyMontserrat helped with the evacuation of passengers from Dominica yesterday. Our pilot reported that "I was at the very end of the ramp, it was a crowded area with no place to park.
The terminal was full with people yelling and waiting for an evacuation and humanitarian people with material arriving. Chaotic situation despite the military presence and the police personnel."

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Dominica as they struggle to get back to normality after Tropical Storm Erika was so unkind to them.
