Last Sunday on Mother’s Day, we experienced such a beautiful and powerful time of worship and receiving God’s Word.

Pastor Richard from Samaritan’s Purse shared from Romans 15:13:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

He illustrated this verse using a simple but meaningful analogy—a hope sandwich.

In this picture, hope is the bun, found on both the top and the bottom. When our hope is firmly placed in Jesus (period), everything else comes together.
Inside the sandwich is the filling:
Joy, Peace, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
As we believe in Him, God fills us with joy and peace. And through the power of the Holy Spirit, that hope doesn’t just stay steady—it overflows. We don’t just have hope; we abound in hope.

So when our lives are anchored in Jesus as our sure and unwavering hope, we are held together, strengthened, and sustained by His joy, His peace, and His Spirit working within us. ‭‭

It was an amazing time of worship, Word, prayer time, and fellowship. Different (temporary) location, but same God!

Thankful for all the wonderful volunteers who faithfully served including individuals from other churches (SCC & JIL) and community members who helped in unloading of tarps, cutting tarps at KPC, registration and distribution team, parking assistants, and prayer ministers.

Our volunteers welcomed the people with their warm smiles, their heartfelt prayer and sharing the hope in Jesus.

We served almost 1000 families that day.

Thank you for serving the Lord and the people in CNMI that Jesus loves. Thank you for making this distribution as smooth as possible. Thank you Samaritan's Purse for your love for our islands.

On behalf of Samaritan’s Purse and its local church partners, the scheduled
tarp distribution in Kagman has been postponed due to supply chain delays.

The tarp will still be distributed this week.
