CHCC Community Guidance Center
Hafa adai yan Tirow! Welcome to the official page for the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation's Community Guidance Center.
Following the impacts of Super Typhoon Bavi, CHCC teams continue to support the recovery efforts in Rota through direct community outreach.
Clinical staff are conducting home visits to ensure patients, particularly our Manamkos and other vulnerable residents, have access to essential medical care, medications, and support. At the same time, our Population Health team is conducting the Community Assessment for Public Health Emergency Response (CASPER) survey to assess community needs and help inform ongoing recovery efforts.
CHCC remains committed to delivering quality, comprehensive healthcare and supporting the health and well-being of the Rota community throughout every stage of recovery.
Because your health is our commitment.
Behavioral health is an essential part of overall health—-and no one should have to face life’s challenges alone.
At the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation’s Community Guidance Center (CHCC CGC), we are committed to promoting mental wellness, preventing substance use, providing compassionate treatment and recovery services, and ensuring that anyone experiencing emotional distress or a mental health crisis has someone to turn to. Through education, prevention, early intervention, treatment, recovery support, and the 988 Crisis Lifeline, we connect individuals and families across the CNMI with the care and support they need.
Our latest video highlights the wide range of behavioral health services available through the CHCC CGC, demonstrating how these services help individuals and families build resilience, find hope, and thrive.
Watch the video, learn about the resources available, and share it with your family and friends. Together, we can reduce stigma, prevent substance use, support recovery, and remind everyone that help is always within reach.
If you or someone you know is struggling, call 988 anytime for free, confidential support.
Hope starts with reaching out. Help is here.

Recovery takes time and that is okay.
Healing happens one step at a time, one day at a time.
Stay connected, be kind to yourself, and support one another.

Recovery begins with caring for yourself💙
To Our Man’amkos:
Rest when you can, stay hydrated, eat nourishing meals, and ask for help when you need it.

It’s okay to not be okay after a storm. Recognize the signs of emotional distress, take small steps to care for yourself, and don’t hesitate to ask for help💙

Supporting our children starts before the storm arrives, continues through the uncertainty, and remains long after the skies clear. Preparation, reassurance, and connection help young hearts feel safe, seen, and supported every step of the way💙
