Behind the scenes of the JHS Class of 2026 portrait photography.
This may not have won the competition, but we are still proud to share this story.
“The Promise” is inspired by the reality that these trees are more than just part of the land — they are life, history, protection, and survival for many generations. What some people see as ordinary has always carried deep importance for our community.
Despite limited equipment, challenging conditions, and a noisy environment during filming, our team worked hard to tell this message in the best way we could. Every shot and every edit was made with passion and purpose.
This film may not have brought home the award, but we are proud that it was able to remind people of the importance of protecting what remains and remembering the value of what our elders once depended on.
Kommool tata to everyone who supported us. ❤️
