Tip of the day: Don’t litter!

Start helping your planet from now. Don’t throw garbage out of your car window. Don’t leave your garbage when you go on a picnic this summer. Don’t litter Lebanon’s beautiful public beaches. Set an example, make a difference!

Did you know that solar panels increase the lifetime of your roof since it protects it, or most of it, from weather corrosion?

Set an example to your children. Be the idol you’ve always wanted!
You have no idea how much the simple acts in life have impact on our children. Whatever you teach them today will live through them long after they become independent and have a family on their own. Show them what you which you were taught when you were young. Teach them what you feel will make them better humans and make you proud of your parent accomplishments.

Beware of Solar Panels Shaded During Peak Sun Hours.
Although solar panels have come a long way in recent years, they still struggle with shade. Shading not only affects the shaded solar panels, but diminishes the power output of all the other panels that are on the same string.

Even in below-freezing weather, solar panels turn sunlight into electricity. That’s because solar panels absorb energy from our sun’s abundant light, not the sun’s heat. In fact, cold climates are actually optimal for solar panel efficiency.1 So long as sunlight is hitting a solar panel, it will generate electricity. Any diminished output during the winter months will primarily be due to heavy snow and shorter daylight hours.

Solar energy is constantly flowing away from the sun and throughout the solar system. Solar energy warms the Earth, causes wind and weather, and sustains plant and animal life. The energy, heat, and light from the sun flow away in the form of electromagnetic radiation (EMR).

Do you have any idea how much money you are wasting monthly for your electricity bills? Some of your electronics and appliances use up power even when you are not home using them.
Get a glimpse of what developed countries experience with 24/7 electricity with no monthly bills as well!
Every postponed month is a financial loss!

Looking forward to installing your own solar system? Not sure about the difference between solar thermal and solar pv.

Solar thermal panels and solar PV panels expertly transform the sun’s rays into useable electricity and heat. They both rely upon the sun to collect energy, the similarities end there.

In a nutshell, solar thermal technology produces heat, whilst solar PV produces electricity.

A Floating Glass House on Miami’s Coast

Created by French company Arkup, this floating glass house is the first in a series about to anchor along Miami Beach.

Offering a unique lifestyle on the water, this high-tech innovation, built by Dutch architect Koen Olthuis, is fully-powered by solar energy which is plentiful in the region. Residents of this house boat can live there totally off the grid. And when transformed into a house on stilts, it can serve as an event space, restaurant, or even an art gallery.

This floating house can move at 12 km/h and has four bedrooms, a kitchen, living area with panoramic views, gym/hot tub, and a modular open-air balcony so you can dive into the Floridian waters at any time.

Floating solar panels are real! They are great for areas with limited spare land. They reduce dust on the solar panels, get little to no shade and keep the panels cool in summer. This maximizes which the amount of power cultivated from the sun!
Thailand currently generates 12 percent of its energy from hydropower and renewable sources. The government has set a goal to increase that up to 27% by 2037. From that, 6% of the country’s total power could come from floating solar farms. ⚡️🌊
