SimoneS Art Gallery

Hey you….

Down there….

Yes you, come fly with me.

To the top of this here Royal Poinciana, where beauty blooms.

Thinking to draw this one. Wha you think?

I’m like Vashti’s song—I’m proudly Caymanian, and my heart forever tied to Cayman Brac. 💙🌴

My love for the Cayman Islands naturally shines through in my original art. I invite you to see these beautiful Caribbean islands through my eyes, as I bring each piece to life with paint and brushes, or create digitally on my iPad using my finger or stylus.

Yesterday my mom and I taught about the Caymanian Silver thatch industry history and the children made bookmarks. Will the glitter glue used for decoration, ever dry!!

Today there was a guest speaker from Grand Cayman with a field trip and we decorated tennis balls as part of her activity, do you like mines? Soooo, guess what we learnt about today as our subject at the National Trust Brac Summer Camp with Cathy Childs and Alex Flores?

Woke up today determined to start Mr George’s commission of his parents home Mr Albert and Ms Celeste, in Spot Bay near Conway Turn. Drew directly on the canvas with a micro pen, so thankful only one or two little hiccups. Start to paint next week with acrylics which will hide all those hiccups…. lol
