As a family we gathered to honour and remember Pastor Gavin. 🤍

We celebrated a life devoted to God, a heart that loved people, and a legacy that continues to live on in us.

With grateful hearts, we thank God for the man he was, the lives he touched, and the seeds he planted.

We give thanks.
His legacy lives on. 🕊️

A day to worship. A day to remember. A day to declare our trust in God.

This Sunday, we gather together to lift up the name of Jesus, worship Him, and hear His Word.

As we continue to walk in faith and trust in the Lord, we will also take a special moment to remember and honour the life and legacy of our beloved Pastor Gavin.

One year ago, we gathered in this very season to say goodbye. Today, we gather with grateful hearts remembering his life, honouring his legacy, and above all, declaring that God remains faithful.

“The Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.”
Psalm 100:5

REMEMBERING PASTOR GAVIN 🤍

One year ago today, we said goodbye to someone who was so much more than a pastor to us.

He was a husband, a father, a friend, a shepherd, a builder — and a man who loved Jesus and loved people.

It is hard to believe that a whole year has passed.

We remember his voice, his smile, his sense of humour, his prayers, his faith and the way he made people feel that they belonged.

Some people leave memories behind. Others leaves seeds; and we continue to see those seeds growing in the lives of people and in the church family he loved so deeply.

“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.”
— Hebrews 13:7

Today, we have chosen some special photos of Pastor Gavin enjoying the sunshine — moments that capture a little of the joy, warmth and life he carried with him.

And as we look at those photos, we are reminded of a greater light — the light that shines from the throne of God, and we rejoice in knowing that he is home with the Lord, in the presence of the One he loved and served.

But we’ll be back next Friday, 2nd October at 10am for our Blessings of Friendship series; reading the beautiful book of Ruth together. 🌿📖☕️
