Clare Traveller Community Development Project works to support and empower the Traveller community across County Clare.

We promote equality, community, well-being, culture and inclusion through community projects, advocacy, education, and collaboration. Our aim is to improve living conditions, opportunities and achievement of human rights for Travellers in Clare. This will be pursued through establishing and strengthening local alliances and, most importantly, through building effective Traveller leadership and a strong Traveller voice.

ISPCC THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
https://www.ispcc.ie/guided-digital-programmes/

For Parents/Carers
1. Supporting An Anxious Child:
For parents/carers of children aged 5–11 who are experiencing mild to moderate anxiety. This programme helps parents/carers better understand childhood anxiety and develop practical, evidence-based strategies to support their child’s emotional wellbeing and confidence.

2. Supporting An Anxious Teen: For parents/carers of young people aged 12–18 who are experiencing mild to moderate anxiety. This programme helps parents/carers understand teenage anxiety and learn practical techniques to support independence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.

3. Supporting A Child With ADHD: For parents/carers of children aged 6–12 who are experiencing ADHD-related challenges, with or without a formal diagnosis. This programme helps parents/carers better understand ADHD and develop practical strategies to support organisation, routines, emotional regulation, communication, positive relationships and everyday life at home.

These are standalone programmes, so young people and parents/carers can each take part in their respective programmes where appropriate, or just one person can be referred into the relevant programme depending on what best suits the family.

How the Programmes Work:

- Each participant is paired with a trained ISPCC Supporter who guides them through the programme for up to 12 weeks.
- The service is fully digital and can be accessed on a phone, tablet, computer or other smart device.
- The programmes are safe and accessible 24/7, allowing users to log in whenever and wherever suits them.
- All communication with a Supporter is in written form and asynchronous.
- No face-to-face or in-person sessions are involved.

Referrals:
ISPPC accept referrals from professionals as well as self-referrals from parents/carers for themselves and/or their child.
