Kitten takes unexpected trip from Drogheda to Mullingar in delivery van A little kitten may have taken an unexpected road trip from Drogheda to Mullingar after apparently sneaking into the back of a delivery van.

🐱 THEY HAVE A FRIEND FOR LIFE -
Kittens are incredibly social. Having a familiar companion means they have someone to play with, sleep beside, groom and comfort when they feel uncertain.

🎾 THEY ENTERTAIN EACH OTHER -
Kittens have enormous amounts of energy! Two kittens can chase, wrestle and play together, helping to satisfy their natural instincts. This can also mean less boredom and fewer unwanted behaviours around the home.

✏️ THEY LEARN FROM EACH OTHER -
Kittens develop important social skills through interaction with other cats. They learn boundaries - when play is too rough, when to back off and how to communicate appropriately.

❤️‍🩹 THEY FEEL SAFER TOGETHER -
Moving into a new home can be a huge change for a young kitten. Having their bonded companion beside them can provide reassurance during those first frightening days.

🏠 And surprisingly, two kittens can sometimes be easier than one! A single kitten may rely heavily on their human for constant entertainment. Two can burn off energy together, leaving plenty of time for cuddles with their new family.

Two little personalities, twice the mischief, twice the purrs and twice the joy!

Most importantly, bonded kittens should not be separated simply because one kitten seems easier to adopt. If they have already chosen each other as their companion, allowing them to grow up together can give them a happier and more secure life.

'KITTY BOND' & HER SIDE KICK 'BOO' - READY FOR ADOPTION 🖤🤍❤️

These two are incredibly close and we would like to rehome them together. Let's share their stories:

KITTY BOND - B/W Female. Born on May 13th, 2026 to a mother who had been living rough on the streets. Mammy gave birth to two kittens, but sadly lost one after birth. Kitty Bond survived and is now flourishing after a shaky start to life. Full of fun, adventure, and affection.

BOO - BLACK Male. Estimated to have been born on May 27th, 2026. Boo was found in a rubbish bin in Duleek Co Meath on June 24th, 2026. He was estimated to have been only 4-Weeks old at the time. Fierce friendly, absolutely lovely, and super affectionate.

These two underdogs came together in foster care and at first there were hisses and growls, which was all a front as the two are now inseparable.

Fully Vaccinated & Microchipped Plus treated for parasites.

Hi all, my name is Beth Dutton. I came into DAR care when I was 24 hours old. My brother and I were found by a member of the public. Our mum was nowhere to be seen. We were minutes from death. We were ice cold and invested with maggots. The man rushed us to the Veterinary Clinic. The team started working on us straight away. Unfortunately, my brother didn't make it 😪 I was placed in foster care. Everyone knew that the odds were stacked against me, but I kept fighting and here I am 16 weeks old and ready for my new home. I'm a very playful, affectionate, adorable, cute, confident, spoilt 😁, intelligent and sweet girl. I love cats and dogs
and I really love humans.

MEET THE MORNINGTON KITTENS
Cillian, Cassie, Buttons & Boots are now ready for their forever homes. Born under the hedges in a garden to a stray mum in April. Kittens were taken into DAR care in July. It has taken a while to get them ready but with a lot of time, patience and love from their foster mum they are now ready to go to new homes. These kittens run around playing so much it is difficult to get good photos. They are much nicer than their photos.
Cillian
is a black & white male and is the friendliest of the kittens. He loves climbing up his foster mum’s leg! He loves long toys and is always the first to get his paws on them.
Cassie
is a white & tabby female and she is now very friendly too. Quieter than her brother but very playful and does her best to beat Cillian to the toys.
Buttons
is a white & black female. She is very friendly and is the smallest of the four. She is not neutered yet. She goes around with a toy in her mouth growling at any of the others that go near her. Perhaps the sign of a hunter!
Boots
Last but not least is Boots, a tabby & white male with lovely soft fur. He is the shyest and has taken the longest to come around but he is so worth it. He can be picked up and now rolls over for rubs. Comes up and rubs against his foster mum’s legs when she is not looking. Boots will take time in a new home as all kittens do but maybe a little more time.

Ideally we would like to see them go in pairs but can go on their own.

The owner of Tim & Tess asked us to find them a new home. Why? Because he acquired a Shepherd pup who has since developed an unhealthy obsession for the two cats which has turned into a high risk situation - someone's gonna get hurt!😢
