The 97/98 squad . One of the most important squads in the history of Celtic. Jansen had a big job that year...win the league & stop them breaking a record honestly achieved by Jock Stein. Not only did he do that but he brought in the League Cup too ππ
Wim would build on the great work started by Tommy Burns & bring in some excellent signings. He also brought physicality back to the team with Lambert, Burley, Rieper & Jackson giving our team some bulk. Also signed this Swedish fella that everyone thought was sh*te...but we seen how that played out π.

The 88 Celtic squad ..better known as the Centenary Bhoys. Cesar was under pressure that season...aside from it being the clubs 100th birthday? Our neighbours were surging back....
But Cesar brought some great players in & the Bhoys stood up , denied souness, then got the double won. Exactly 10 years later Wim Jansen & his squad would deny Murray & history was made again in 97/98.
What a team Billy had that year πͺπ³π¬
