Wildlife conservation, education, research, recreational place and nature appreciation www.bali-zoo.com
Bali's first and only zoological park is a wondrous place where you can learn the behavior of over 500 rare and exotic animals in a lush, tropical environment. A park where you can participate in fascinating animal adventure activities, some of which are unique experiences of their kind in Indonesia.
Taking the word “omnivore” seriously ✨
Well, fruit may be the main item on their menu, but rhinoceros hornbills are actually omnivores. They also eat insects, eggs, lizards, small birds, and small mammals like mice 🐭
So yes, a mouse might look like an unexpected meal, but it’s part of the varied diet these impressive birds naturally enjoy 🌿
Fruit lover with a wild side, basically 😌
Our heroes would love to see how AI earns the trust of a bird that can run up to 70 km/h😂🦤
Ostriches are incredibly fast and may chase people when they feel threatened. That’s why our zookeepers don’t rely on force. They rely on trust.
By working with the same birds every day, they build familiarity and strong relationships, allowing them to calmly guide the ostriches back into their enclosure.
Some jobs aren’t just about skill. They’re about bonds❤️🐾

Who remembers this little supermarket chicken-looking fella? 😂🐥
And for those who don’t… any guesses what kind of feathered baby this is? 👀
P.S. No tiny chicken was disturbed in the making of this content 😂 This photo and video were taken safely during feeding time, with the baby’s comfort coming first🤍
Our nutrition and teams prepared special ice enrichment for everyone: fruit ice, honey ice, and frozen blood treats, because every animal has their own favorite flavor 😌
Different treats, same reaction: more, please 🐾
