Founded in 1970, in Alexander Village, Georgetown, Guyana by Looknauth Persaud, King’s started with one goldsmith and two apprentices. We are the original makers of the cricket band, which is worn by Cricketers internationally. King’s built their reputation by offering superior quality, styling and service. This company has revolutionized the jewellery industry in Guyana with its high quality, consistency and wide selection. In November 1996 the new headquarters, King's Plaza, was opened to the public. King’s has stores in Middle Street, Georgetown, City Mall and King’s Duty Free at the Cheddie Jagan International Airport. Our Jewellery meets the requirements of the Guyana National Bureau of Standards for international quality and carries their mark of excellence. Presently there are 4 Graduate Gemologists (GIA), Graduate Diamond Grader (GIA), Accredited Jewellery Professional (GIA) and Graduate Jewellery Designer (GIA) on site at Kings. Today King’s continues to grow and offers many Luxury brands carrying full warranties and back up service.
