Participants demonstrated a range of practical techniques, showcasing the precision, attention to detail and workmanship they have developed throughout their training.

Congratulations to our winners:

We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part. The competition was closely contested, with all apprentices demonstrating excellent progress and commitment to their trade.

A big thank you to our Painting and Decorating Instructor, Christian Ressa, for organising the competition, and to The Paint Shop for generously sponsoring the prizes.

We would also like to thank our judging panel, including representatives from DP Plastering and Decorating, Perfect Finish, Gibhandyman, The Paint Shop and our Head of Training Programme and Facilities, Dylan Podesta.

Finally, thank you to Minister Christian Santos for joining us to present the prizes and certificates to our apprentices.

⚡👏 Shining a spotlight on some of our NVQ Level 2 Electrical Apprentices! 👏⚡

We’re incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and professionalism our apprentices continue to demonstrate every day at the Gibraltar Training Centre.

From mastering essential wiring techniques to developing a strong understanding of safety, regulations, and real-world installation practices — these learners are building the skills that power our future. 🔌💡

A special mention goes to our Electrical Instructor, Anthony Bolanos, whose commitment, knowledge, and passion for teaching are making a real difference. His guidance and support are helping shape confident, capable apprentices who are ready to take on the industry. 👷‍♂️⚡

Their commitment to learning, teamwork, and high standards is a credit to both themselves and their instructors. It’s fantastic to see their confidence grow as they take on new challenges and progress in their trade.

Remember — every expert was once a beginner. Stay focused, keep pushing your limits, and take pride in every job you complete. The effort you put in today is building a strong and successful future. 💪⚡

Keep up the excellent work — the future of the electrical industry is in safe hands!
