Fitzgeralds' Favourite Job of September 🤍

This month's favourite job is a little closer to home… because a member of the Fitzgeralds team got married! 💍🥂

Our lovely Ellie, who you may not see behind the counter but who is very much part of the team behind the scenes looking after all things marketing, married Ronan in France earlier this month. 🇫🇷🤍

John had the pleasure of taking some gorgeous portraits of the two of them here in Guernsey and we couldn't resist making them our Favourite Job of September!

A huge congratulations to Ellie & Ronan from all of us at Fitzgeralds. We hope married life is every bit as wonderful as the celebrations looked! 🤍

Some very exciting news from the Fitzgeralds team… our Johnny is officially a Jurat! 🤍

A huge congratulations to John on this incredible achievement. We're all so proud of him and think this one deserves a proper Fitzgeralds celebration!

We've seen a little bit of confusion recently, so just a reminder that while our St Martin's shopfront will be closing at the end of the year, Fitzgeralds is absolutely not closing. 🤍

A big part of this change is allowing John and the team more flexibility to be out and about doing what they do best - photography, weddings, civil ceremonies and all the other parts of Fitzgeralds that keep us so wonderfully busy.

We'll be sharing a proper FAQ very soon answering all your questions about the shop closure, online printing and exactly what Fitzgeralds will look like going forward.

Opening Times W/C Monday 28th September 📸

Monday 28th: 1pm – 4pm
Tuesday 29th: 8:30am – 4pm
Wednesday 30th: 1pm – 4pm
Thursday 1st: 8:30am – 12pm
Friday 2nd: CLOSED

We're still incredibly busy behind the scenes and out and about photographing schools, portraits and events, so our shop opening hours continue to look a little different from usual.

A little reminder that our in-store photo machines are still out of order. You can still order your prints online from home through Fitzlab, ready for us to print for you. 🤍

Thank you, as always, for your patience and understanding while we juggle a particularly busy few weeks!

A little reminder from us 🤍 We shared this a couple of weeks ago, but after a particularly difficult few days for our small team, we felt it was worth sharing again.

We are incredibly busy and currently operating with a smaller team than usual. We are doing everything we possibly can to help everyone, but there will be occasions when things take a little longer. We completely understand that this can be frustrating, but please, be kind to our team. We're real people, doing our very best during an exceptionally busy period!

And just to clear up one little rumour while we're here - our St Martin's shop is NOT closing at the end of September! We're here until the end of the year, and Fitzgeralds itself isn't going anywhere. There's lots more to come on our next chapter very soon.

Thank you to the huge majority of our lovely customers who continue to be so patient, kind and supportive. It really does mean a lot to us!

For many years, we've prided ourselves on offering great customer service, quick turnaround times and always doing our very best to help whenever we can. At the moment, we're operating with a slightly smaller team than usual, with a couple of us unwell (but thankfully on the mend!) and another member of the team heading off to get married! 💍

We're incredibly busy and doing everything we can to keep our usual Fitzgeralds service running as smoothly as possible!

But occasionally, things may take us a little longer than usual. We may not be able to accommodate every last-minute request, and there may be times when we simply can't do something as quickly as we'd normally like to.

We're just asking for a little extra patience and kindness while we navigate a particularly busy few weeks. Our team really are doing their absolute best, and your understanding makes a bigger difference than you might realise. 🤍

Please remember that there are real people behind every counter, email and order, and we kindly ask that our team are treated with the same kindness and respect that we aim to show every customer!

Thank you, as always, for supporting Fitzgeralds!!

The Fitzgeralds Team x

A gorgeous day for Adam & Stephen at

There’s something so special about an intimate wedding surrounded by the people who mean the most, and it was an absolute pleasure for the Fitzgeralds team to be part of this one.

They had the ultimate Fitzgeralds combination - our lovely Lizzy conducting their civil ceremony, followed by John capturing the newlyweds and those all-important photographs with their closest family and friends.

It’s exactly what our Boutique Wedding Package is all about, and there’s a reason so many of you are loving it!

Huge congratulations to Adam & Stephen. We hope you had the most wonderful day and wish you every happiness together. 🤍
