Went to see Doctor Sophie Mills today at St. Sampson's surgery. Very pleasant lady and she inspires confidence. Anyway, now on antibiotics and should feel better by Friday. All this gas got me down a bit so she also upped my Citalopram anti-depressant.

I feel that I should stick to my recovery hours for Wednesday and Thursday, 08.00 till 12.00 noon, closed till 14.00 and the open till 16.00. Many thanks to all our customers who have worked around these hours and supported us.

Reference post on opening hours, I have decided to continue these hours for the next two days.

Here at "TREV'S" most people know that I have a slightly dodgy heart. I have now picked up some kind of upper respiratory tract infection which is affecting my breathing and to be honest I feel a bit knackered.
So I am doing the sensible thing and adjusting my opening hours today so I can get some rest & recovery. Today open 08.00 till 12.00, then I will close until 14.00. I will then re-open until 16.00.
I know customers have always asked after mine and Wendy's health, we have both been through the wars so I know you will understand this decision.
Wendy has offered to cut short her holiday to come back but I am not dying, just taking a common sense approach while still keeping the business going for our loyal customers.

Wonderful week here at "TREV'S" busy in fuel as Vale Garage were shut on Monday & Tuesday. Really good week on accessories, 2 motorcycle garages, 2 bike cover, 8 jackets, 4 helmets, 3 pairs of gloves and 2 pairs of boots. Late news, add 1 pair of new new Oxford "Marshal" jeans as well and possibly another helmet sale tomorrow.

Here at "TREV'S" just a heads up that I will be closed on Friday from 13.00 until about 15.00. I am due for a checkup with my foot clinic at 13.30 and Wendy is away at the moment on holiday so she can't cover the business.

We had our first delivery of the new Oxford Products "Marshal" AAA safety rated jeans yesterday and sold one pair the very same day. Our normal retail is £157.50 but we are doing them at £140.00. We also have the older version jean, also AAA safety rated, at a clearance price of £110.25.

Busy, busy today. Lots of bike kit sold, many had excellent deals and went away very happy. People amazed at range of stock, even had an Alpinestars jacket for a little girl. More fuel sold than expected for month end too.

So, we thought the Oxford Products AAA rated jeans were the business. But, things have changed and we are now getting the brand new Oxford Original "Marshal" AAA rated jeans in both slim and straight fits. They are water repellent and the knee armour is in an easily removable outer pocket.
As we have stock of the original AAA jeans we will be doing an extra special deal clearance price on the older version.
UPDATE... I have sharpened my pencil and got my calculator out, the "old" jeans will now have an astonishing 30% off the £157.50 original price, making them just £110.25. Existing stock only, when they are gone, they're gone,!

Just a couple of reminders.
Many people still don't know we open on Sundays and Bank Holidays. So this weekend we would like to remind you that on both days we are here from 10.00 until 12.00 noon.

Secondly, we have been absorbing price increases on our fuels but we have reached the point where we have to put our prices up. Probably about 2p per litre but we are holding off until close of business tomorrow.

Customer Chris (not the same Chris from Liberation Day) came in for a Simpson Speed helmet today. He was delighted to get an amazing 20% discount (£54.00) off the price and Simpson threw in a free dark smoke visor too.! Our buying power means we can do good deals and still make a few quid for ourselves as well. Always good deals to be had here at "TREV'S".!
