✨ Congratulations to Angelique and her son, Côme, who travelled to Guernsey this week to enjoy their fabulous prize – a two-night island break ☀️
The trip was won through our hugely popular competition with the Old Government House Hotel & Spa, which attracted almost 3,000 entries.
Travelling from the Côtes d'Armor in Brittany, they enjoyed two nights' bed and breakfast at the five-star hotel, a delicious Gourmet Escape dinner, and of course, return ferry travel from Saint-Malo ⛴️

We were delighted to welcome the France U19 cricket team to Guernsey this week 🇫🇷🏏as they arrived from Saint-Malo ahead of the ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup – Europe Division 2 Qualifier.
Over the coming days, Guernsey will host the next generation of international cricket talent, with teams from France, Sweden, the Isle of Man, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Germany competing alongside the hosts in a series of 50-over matches.
The tournament is part of the qualification pathway for the 2028 ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup and reinforces Guernsey's reputation as a host of international sporting events.
Good luck to all the teams – and especially to Guernsey and France! 👏

Guernsey and Sark have received some fabulous, national publicity following a recent visit by a top journalist at the Mirror Group.
Natalie Fahy travelled to the Island from Portsmouth with her family in late May and spent a week camping and exploring the Island, along with a super day trip to Sark.
Her coverage has been seen far and wide: https://bit.ly/4gLaoJQ

We were proud to support Armed Forces Week by bringing former Royal Marine Commando and Invictus Games gold medallist Mark Ormrod to the Island.
Mark shared his extraordinary story of resilience and determination with a packed audience, including His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, inspiring those present with a powerful reminder of the importance of never giving up.
This is part of Brittany Ferries' long-standing commitment to support the travel of veterans and serving armed forces personnel in the Channel Islands, UK and France.
Pictured with Mark are Ian and Anthony from our Guernsey team.

We are delighted to support the Guernsey Rowing Club by transporting six Swift rowing boats to the Island last week for a month long-trial.
The boats, which includes quads, doubles and singles, are used for coastal racing and beach sprints and will make their Olympic debut at Los Angeles in 2028.
Following a successful 'Have a Go Row' session at the Havelet Regatta last weekend, students from Guernsey's three high schools will also have the opportunity to experience coastal rowing for the first time.
We're delighted to help support local sport and inspire the next generation of rowers 🚣

A Guernsey cycling legend is back in the saddle for a remarkable challenge – and all for a great cause.
Former Island Games champion Ann Bowditch is midway through her epic 1,000-mile solo ride from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, aiming to complete in just nine days. Along the way, she is tackling 37,000 feet of climb to raise funds for three cat rescue charities.
Ann is raising money for the GSPCA, Lost & Found Pets Guernsey and the Stray Cats Rescue Team in the UK, with donors able to choose which receives their contribution.
We're pleased to be supporting Ann and her crew with travel to the UK and wish her every success.
Good luck, Ann – we're all behind you! 🚴🐈
