Join Us for the Monthly Sunday Social Trail Run at OPA!
Are you looking for a friendly way to enjoy the trails?

Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or just starting out, our monthly social run is designed for everyone. If you’re comfortable covering 7-10km at a relaxed pace, you’ll fit right in!

This isn’t a high-pressure training session, it’s a pure social gathering.

Our goal is to enjoy the beautiful forest scenery and the company of fellow runners. There are no “beastings” here; it’s all about sharing a chat and a laugh as we navigate the trails together.

We gather on the decking at the center at 9:15 AM for a quick catch-up and route briefing before heading out at 9:30 AM. We typically spend about 90 minutes in the forest, and we always adjust the speed to match the group’s pace. We can’t wait to see you there!

We’ve been busy rock armouring some sections of trail this week, removing some deep those deep gullies 👌💪🏼

We’re open from 12pm today, and fully open all weekend!

A massive thank you to Hafren Dyfrdwy, who have worked throughout the night to repair their burst water main. This means the access road to our car parks is now passable again. 🙌

We’ve been busy getting new stock out in the shop, the kitchen has been baking all your favourite cakes, and the forest is waiting!

🚨 CLOSED TODAY — 24TH SEPTEMBER 2026: BURST WATER MAIN.

Unfortunately, we’ve arrived today to find that a water main has burst overnight. The emergency repair works mean that the access road is currently not passable, so we’re unable to open as planned.

We can only apologise for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, this is completely outside of our control.

At the moment, we don’t have an exact timeframe for the repair, but we’re actively speaking with Hafren Dyfrdwy to get an update on the situation and an estimated timescale for the works.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more and are hopefully able to bring you some good news ahead of the weekend.
