The quality of our stairs, staircases and stair parts are just as important to us as they are to you. On our staircases we use 32mm staircase string (which in our experience should be the minimum thickness used). All our staircases are dry fitted in our factory after manufacturing, saving your carpenter or staircase installer hours in on site installation time. We can deliver your staircase within 7-10 working days from receipt of a signed drawing (subject to a standard staircase specification). Once your staircase order is placed a designer is allocated to your staircase project and is on hand should you have any questions to ask. For this project, the goal was to transform a wall-enclosed stairwell into an inviting space that perfectly balances traditional character with modern clarity.
Our team designed a complete flight crafted entirely from rich, solid oak. To keep the area open and airy, glass balustrades slotted directly into the handrail and baserail grooves—creating a clean, bracket-free look.
By letting natural light pass straight through the glass, the beautiful grain of the oak is highlighted from every angle without darkening the hallway.
It shows that even an enclosed stairwell can feel open, spacious, and full of light with thoughtful joinery design.
