*UPDATE - 6th October 2026*

The Village Hall defibrillator is now back in operation. Thank you for your patience during this time.

-

Please be aware that the defibrillator by the Village Hall is out of circulation with immediate effect due to battery issues.

The council are currently awaiting a battery replacement before it can become operational again. As soon as we have a new battery in place, an update will be posted.

If a defibrillator is required before the Village Hall unit is back in operation, your nearest defibrillator is located by the Pavillon (at the back of the recreation ground)

Message from Everton Parish Council

Overnight on Friday 4th Sept, the corner of Everton Recreation ground nearest to the playground in Potton Road was vandalised by at least two individuals who decided to ride bikes of some sort on the edge of the football pitch. It appears from the damage they caused that they either preformed wheelies or skids leaving gouged up grass. A resident in The Lawns happened to lookout of their bedroom window at around 03:30 and saw at least two what he described as electric bikes, speeding along the football pitch, obviously intent on tearing up what is left the grass on the pitch.

Overnight on the previous day, another resident in The Lawns looked out their bedroom window at around 04:00 to see two what he described as motor bikes driving slowly into the Lawns, circling around the cul-de-sac before slowly driving out.

Please make certain that all of your property including sheds, garages and vehicles are securely locked and that no valuables are left in vehicles. In the morning Itโ€™s worth checking that your vehicles have not damaged or number plates stolen. There was a recent incident in The Lawns of number plate theft

Both of these incidents have been reported to Bedfordshire police. Please keep your eyes open and report anything suspicious to the police
