As part of Rostrevor Heritage Week, we were absolutely delighted to welcome Mr. Mark Brennan to our school for a special question and answer session with pupils from P3 to P7. Mark, who is James and Daniel's Granda, is a former pupil of our school and attended here during the 1950s.
Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed learning about what school life was like in the past and had prepared thoughtful questions during their Literacy lesson yesterday. Mark shared fascinating memories of his time at our school. He gave the children a wonderful insight into his education, daily life and childhood experiences.
We would like to thank Mark for taking the time to visit us and bringing local history to life through his stories and experiences. This was such a memorable and valuable experience for all of us and especially for James and Daniel! 💙💛
