AMP InfoSys

Our team pride themselves on their experience, knowledge and expertise of working in the IT industry. Adam & Jim certainly demonstrated their skills and wealth of knowledge, when speaking at our recent AI themed event last month.

All 33 attendees completed feedback forms, and we were delighted to see that 97% of the audience rated their knowledge as EXCELLENT! (that's pretty impressive).

Well done, guys!

👻 Things got a little spooky at Masterstaff… 💀

Our Tech Services Director was out on site with the lovely team at Masterstaff and, while he wasn’t at all spooked by their latest employee, he did manage to sneak a photo when nobody was looking! 👀

It got us thinking… should we make the AMP office a little more spooky this Halloween? 🎃

Masterstaff are a fantastic client to work with - a friendly bunch who specialise in healthcare recruitment, regional industrial recruitment and specialist workforce solutions.

We’ve been working with these guys for what feels like forever, and it’s always a pleasure to visit them.

Now, the big question is… will their skeleton be sticking around for Christmas? 🎄💀

Looking forward to seeing the Christmas decorations next! 😄

WHILST WE'RE IN THE LEAD, THIS NEEDS A SHARE!! James Smith is competing in this Huntress Capture the Flag challenge ON HIS OWN against 1000s of defenders.

23 days to go, but Jim is 1st position right now, going head-to-head with challenges built for the age of AI.

That's 1st out of everyone taking part across the world!! Insane!!

Last year, he came 116th out of 9981 players, which was still mightily impressive and demonstrating his outstanding skills.

He's aiming for 1st this year...can he hack it? (parden the pun!)

Well done to Zowie for completing the Manchester Half Marathon on Sunday & to anyone else who took up the challenge.

Great to celebrate and share what our team get up to away from the business.

Zowie is taking part in the London Marathon next year, so will be continuing with training for the big one and raising funds for Asthma & Lung UK.

Good luck!

Tomorrow our very own Zow Adele will take on the Manchester Half Marathon. It's not as a fundraising effort for completing tomorrow's big race, but it's all part of a bigger picture, as she trains for the London Marathon next year, where she is raising £2500 for Asthma & Lung UK charity.

Thank you to Collinson Silos for sponsoring Zowie this week...that was a lovely surprise for her.

We'll share how she gets on tomorrow!

Best of luck to Zowie.

Introducing Michael to our team! Michael joined us just over a month ago as an IT Engineer & Helpdesk Support.

He's already settling in fantastically and has been a hit on the helpdesk. Lots of lovely reviews coming in via our Smileback platform of the great customer service they've received, if Michael has picked up the phone.

We wish Michael the best of luck on his new journey with AMP InfoSys!

From Acorns to Oaks 🌱🌳

Last night we headed along to Barton Manor for MJH Accountants Summer Ball....

Our Events & Marketing Coordinator Zowie invited along lots of guests to help them raise much needed funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.

Out of work, Zowie is a member of Preston Harriers & she got together a table of ladies from her club.

Also, she welcomed the family, friends & trustees of Thumbs Up for Charlie charity. It was sad to hear of their painful story of losing their gorgeous son, but his name, energy and smile still shines on in the incredible work they do to help other families.

It's so lovely to bring together different communities, through sports, charities, business contacts and friends - especially when it's for fundraising.

Thank you on this occasion to the Preston Harriers ladies who had a fabulous night!

Next time we do an event on this scale, we're hiring a photographer...

Our events are always a great opportunity for networking, sharing business stories and making new connections.

Zowie was so busy chatting to everyone over lunch, that she didn't grab many pics!

Thank you to this lovely bunch who she did manage to grab a photo of.....and an opportunity for us to share their business services/products. All websites/links in comments.

Emma Kemp, Business Owner, from The Acupuncture Lounge, Garstang - 5 star acupuncturist

Laura Finch, Business Owner, from The Smelly Bakery - gorgeous handmade body & home products.

Lorna Barron, Business Development Manager, Threada - where to go to get your workwear. We've used these guys for our AMP shirts & fleeces this year!

Sarah & Mandi - from RfM Accountants. Serving local businesses and families with their accountancy needs

Michelle Holden from CCH Group - the company to use for your business' fire protection needs

A pleasure to have you join us, ladies!

Super pleased that Jackson Accounts Limited found our workshop the best AI one they've ever been to! Had such brilliant feedback from every single attendee. ❤️
