The Rise of the ‘Grounded Sanctuary’ in 2026 📈

One of the biggest bathroom trends we're seeing for 2026? Creating spaces that feel calmer, warmer and more connected to our surroundings.

One of the common challenges our designers respond to is a cluttered space. The answer? Less sensory overload and a more considered approach to colour, texture and materials.

At MB, we're seeing more customers embrace pared-back, monochromatic palettes, where the walls and floors flow seamlessly together. Instead of bold colour taking centre stage, texture becomes the focus — used subtly to add depth and interest.

For this project, PCB Home Installations used Decorwall Agate Wall panels with their soft beige-ivory tones and delicate veining to create a calm, cohesive backdrop, while a feature Cashmere slat wall blends beautifully with the surrounding walls.

The result is a bathroom that feels warmer, calmer and more spacious, while still having plenty of texture and character. And most importantly, the customer is thrilled with the finished space. 🤎

How to Turn a Tricky Space Into a Feature

Got a tricky bathroom space that you’re not sure what to do with? 👀

Take some inspiration from this incredible bathroom by Iveson Plumbing & Heating.

Rather than trying to work around the unusual shape, they took advantage of our Decorwall Agate panels, using them to follow the curve of the wall and create a softer, more sculptural feel.

And they didn’t stop there. By combining the Agate with Berkshire panels and Create-A-Slat Cappuccino, they created a warm, textured and completely bespoke-looking finish. Matching flooring, the whole bathroom feels seamless and considered.

And the best part? You don’t have to compromise on practicality for great design.

Andy isn't just the man behind our marketing; he's a true jack of all trades! From coming up with marketing ideas to tackling the latest tech issue around our headquarters, there's always something keeping him busy. 💻🔧

We managed to catch him at his desk long enough for a quick photo... which is quite an achievement, as he's usually somewhere else in the building fixing something! 😂

Andy's actual birthday is this Sunday, but as he's off this week, we decided to celebrate a little early and set up something special for him. 🎈

It's a big milestone, but he's still a kid at heart! Before he left, he was already busy creating some digital art for all of us after receiving a few gifts we'd chipped in to buy him... but we'll leave those off here! 😂
