What a fantastic day we had last week at the Kent Construction EXPO! 🎉
We made plenty of new connections, caught up with existing ones and had some great conversations about all things workplace design, construction and interiors.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, had a chat, grabbed a coffee or took part in our very competitive game of Construction-ary! 👀✏️

Phase 1 complete at the EKC Refectory refurbishment! 🎉
We’re pleased to share that the initial stages of the EKC Canterbury College refectory refurbishment at East Kent Colleges Group have now been completed, ready for students that have returned to campus at the start of the academic year.
The first phase has included:
✨ New flooring
🎨 Fresh decoration and finishes
🍽️ New servery counters
With Phase 1 complete, students can continue to use the space while planning and preparation for Phase 2 continues behind the scenes.
The second phase is scheduled to begin during the October half term, when the remaining works will be completed to fully transform the space. This phased approach allows the college to continue operating efficiently, minimising disruption while keeping the project moving forward.

Ever wondered what really goes on behind the scenes at Rap Interiors?
In this new series, we’re taking you behind the scenes to meet the people who help bring our projects to life, from client meetings and site visits to design discussions, problem-solving and everything in between.
First up is Martyn Pilcher, Director at Rap Interiors.
Martyn’s days are rarely the same. In one day, he can find himself walking a client through a nearly completed office fit out, meeting consultants to discuss M&E requirements, surveying a new project and managing the day-to-day running of the business.
And that’s exactly what makes his role so interesting.
📍 Follow Martyn through one particularly busy day, travelling between Essex and London, as he juggles client meetings, live projects, a new enquiry and even finding time to deal with his son’s A-Level results!

Our school library refurbishment is officially approaching the finish line! 📚✨
The refurbishment is now complete throughout, with the furniture installation almost fully finished (photos coming soon👀) ready to welcome staff and students back on Monday! ❤️📚
We can’t wait to see the students enjoying their newly refurbished library and making the most of the space as they begin the new academic year.
