Come and celebrate Sean’s Swanniversary! 🦢

Earlier this year, we’re fairly sure he got the abacus out and realised it’s his 20th year in The Old Swan Inn.

He has poured a few pints, had a few chef shifts and raised a glass with many of you.

So to celebrate, every Friday until the Swan Christmas Party night for you regulars, we’ll have a £20 Classic or Main dish with a pint or glass of w**e.

It’s starts THIS Friday, the 16th October! 🥳

And if you see him, wish him congratulations, happy birthday or remind him he’s not quite at his retirement yet. 😉

Very excited that we’ll have Just Cheese Oompah band returning this year and joining us tomorrow night from 7pm onwards.

Get your last minute reservations in if you’re after the traditional platter, Steins are on all weekend and grab your lederhosen.

Starts Friday with the pints of steins flowing and then into Saturday with the platters and Big Cheese Oompah band in the evening. German steins all weekend.

Please get in the spirit and join in your lederhosen, else the team will be sad and cry in the cellar (not really, but please do wear your lederhosen if you have them!). 🇩🇪 🍺 🥨

We went to one of our favourite places again… the archives!

This time, we found a picture of Vaud and his brother as schoolboys.🤣

But then we got to thinking, whoever took this image was living in the present, not realising one day we’d repost it on social media. On that note, we can’t wait for the future Swan team to post relics of Ducky in lederhosen, falling into the barrels and lip syncing to the latest trend - it’s going to be such a lovely time.

Next weekend, everyone’s knees will be back in action in Lederhosen…. Because it’s Oktoberfest! 🍻

On the Saturday, we’ll have music from The Big Cheese Oompah Band and the steins and platters will be in full swing.
