10th - Lasties Away Day! Gosforth, Ben and Em are coming for yous! Anyone is welcome to join for an afternoon of boozin’ 😤 Times and locations can be found on our previous post! 🍺 🍻

11th - Folk Session headed by Frankie Insley and Gabriel Bath Regulars of the Cumberland Arms folk scene these talented two are doing a little gig in our basement! Starting at 7:30pm with free entry!

13th - The fantastic the_youngvolunteers supported by chazzystar_ are playing at 7pm! Free entry but only 30 seats so get here in good time!

18th - An afternoon of music, books and cool people 😎 ottercop will be performing live music and Grace from will be performing music and poetry as well! Bring your books for a book trade too!! Starting at 3pm :)

22nd - The start of the wonderful Crochet Clinic! 1-3pm every Thursday, £5 per ticket which includes all materials, details on where to get tickets coming soon! Completely beginner friendly in our cozy basement for some good crafts and good chat 🧶

25th - Charity pumpkin carving 🎃 back by popular demand due to the STONKING success of last year! More details to come 👻🦇

29th - Crochet Clinic #2 if you can’t catch the first one we’ll be doing one every week! Also planning on doing an evening session so watch out for that! 🫶🫶

Apparently it’s Autumn (did someone forget to tell the weather?) so we’re off on our next seasonal pub crawl. This time it’s Gosforth’s turn (Brandling Villa we told you you’d be next, we’re not one for hollow threats).

We’ll be meeting in the Brandling Villa at 12:30 but feel free to join at any point: see second pic for the schedule.

All are welcome! Bring your friends! Make a day of it! Be home in time for tea or use it as a perfect springboard for your big night out!!

The lovely people Ideal Day Family Brewery have sent us 5 amazing ales that will be pouring all week long!

These wonderful Cornish ales are beautiful heritage b**rs made with sustainable grown hops and grains and just taste SO great!

The bitter is on now and more will follow so grab them before they’re gone!

FIRST EVER LASTIES FILM NIGHT! 🍿🍿Come join us this Friday 17th June for our Heaton Pride Q***r Film Night in our cosy basement. We have screenings of two fantastic films: But I’m a Cheerleader at 6pm and Paris is Burning at 9pm.

To guarantee a spot, search “Heaton Pride Q***r Film Night” on Eventbrite. There are separate tickets to each screening: book one each if you would like to join us for both!

This is a totally free event. Priority will be given to those with tickets, but spaces available at the start of the screening will be given away on the door (so if you do have a ticket then make sure you arrive on time!)
