We are a charity working to prevent people becoming homeless and separated from their loved ones.

Supporting More Than Housing - Right There 10/10/2026

Today's World Homeless Day and World Mental Health Day provide an important opportunity to recognise the connection between housing insecurity and wellbeing.

At Right There, we know that homelessness is rarely caused by a single issue, and neither are the solutions.

While preventing homelessness remains at the heart of our work, we also provide counselling and mentoring to help people address the challenges affecting their mental health, confidence, relationships and overall wellbeing. By supporting the whole person, not just their immediate housing needs, we can help create more sustainable and lasting change.

Read our latest blog to learn more about why a holistic approach matters.

Supporting More Than Housing - Right There 10 October marks both World Homeless Day and World Mental Health Day. While they are often recognised separately, the connection between them is impossible to ignore.

Two inspiring days at the Homeless Network Scotland Annual Conference in Perth. Great conversations, valuable connections and plenty of learning as the sector came together around the launch of The Level.

A huge well done to Renzo Cardosi and Lauren Cleary for leading a breakout session on Right There's Outcomes Framework and NICO, sharing how our approach supports the ambitions of The Level and helps put whole-life outcomes into practice.

Earlier this month we were delighted to present Peter Coyne with the Volunteer of the Year award at our annual Staff Festival πŸ’›πŸ₯³

Peter has volunteered with Right There within our Intandem Mentoring programme for just over 3 years. Peter has built positive relationships with his mentees, offering support to the young people and their families on a weekly basis. Peter has gone above and beyond in his role a volunteer mentor and has remained enthusiastic and dedicated to the role over the last three years.

We really appreciate your commitment and enthusiasm Peter, thank you for all you do – a very well deserved award!
