GFS Sporthorses

GFS Pirouetta Firefly! Who could resist this beautiful girl? She is by GFS Fire and Ice, our AES Graded perlino leopard spot stallion who stands at 16.3hh and is a proven sire of quality offspring that have sold globally. His progeny are most especially valued for their outstanding temperaments and versatility under saddle. He has produced Licensed stallions, eventers, jumpers and consistently produces horses with fantastic movement. This lovely foal can tick those boxes too, she is exquisite and not just a pretty face; she moves with great expression and shows quality paces, power, speed and balance.
Her dam is by GFS Lord of the Dance whose offspring have been highly rated and very popular in the US and Europe, she is out of an Indoctro mare.
This exciting foal represents an exciting opportunity for anyone in search of a striking horse in an unusual colour with talent too!

Here we have two rather special two year old fillies;
GFS Olympia is a powerful, athletic filly to make 16.2hh, she has big paces and charisma in abundance. She is by Ahorn (Nimmerdor x Ladykiller) and out of a consistent winner at 1.40, Dolanda (Ultimo x Wellington). She is a beautiful natured filly with lovely manners, a gentle and affectionate nature. She is sure to make a dynamic and exciting prospect for anyone looking for a young horse to produce through the levels with potential for a top competition career.
She is vice free, great to handle in every way and a lovely, mannerly youngster to have on the yard.
GFS Luminita is the bay with one white sock. She will make 17hh and she is an absolute sweetheart to work with. She is by a very exciting young stallion GFS Illuminati who we sold to Dubai and despite his predominantly showjumping pedigree, he made a tremendous debut at the National Dressage Championship earlier this year, winning the freestyle class and taking second overall. She is out of a Quirifino Z mare who competed internationally. Luminita is exceptionally beautiful and has exceptional paces which would make her as exciting between the dressage boards as in the show jumping ring or flying round a cross country course! She is graceful, brave, confident and so athletic. She also loves everybody and is a delight in every way.
For anyone interested in these two beauties, there is more information on our website www.gfssporthorses.co.uk and I am happy to either chat or send video.
They are only for sale due to our retirement and imminent relocation.

Super two year old gelding, all quality and blessed with talent in abundance, available to the best of homes x
Last call for GFS Astronova as a c**t and potentially very exciting stallion of the future….!
This superb two year old is by Ahorn (Nimmercor x Ladykiller) a stallion that needs no introduction for those in the know! He is out of an Arko III x Calvados mare and I don’t think that his breeding could be much more inspiring.
As we have not secured a sale as a c**t, tomorrow he will be castrated and sold as a gelding. This will make him no less talented, in fact he will be easier to keep for any new owner not in search of a future stallion, but instead a phenomenal prospect ready to start his journey under saddle next year…
What I will say, is that this boy is an absolute beauty, he has a way of covering the ground with a lightness and with immense style. He is bold, brave, highly trainable and a delight to work with. He has already shown tremendous aptitude over a fence (unintentional, but highly impressive)
He will be available in two weeks as a gelding for someone looking for something rather special or indeed at the eleventh hour as this spectacular entire!

Here is Michelle Underwood’s very beautiful and incredibly tall GFS Appassionato doing very well at his first show. He is by GFS Lord if the Dance and out of the wonderful Neforia ( San Remo x Haarlem) was his first ever show, doesn’t he look gorgeous x
He received 1sr place in the Sport horse Class, 2nd in the Novice, 2nd in the Hunter and 2nd in the Coloured. He was shown by Michelle’s daughter.

We now have the last FIVE GFS horses available before we close our doors here and move on to pastures new!

The chestnut c**t, who will shortly be gelded, GFS Astro Nova is a two year old and by the late, great Ahorn and out of an Arko II x Calvados mare. He is a phenomenal mover and athletic, natural jumper. He has a sensational character and is a lovely youngster with great manners.

We have two bay two year old fillies:
GFS Olympia (two hind socks) is by Ahorn and out of Dolanda, a consistent winner at 1.40 by Ultimo x Wellington) This filly ai a powerfully built, natural athlete with a fantastic attitude and a superb temperament. She is mannerly, gentle and shows a sensible, intelligent demeanor. She loves people and will be a very exciting opportunity for anyone looking for a show jump prospect with huge potential.

GFS Luminita is out of a Quirifino Z mare with lovely breeding and she is by GFS Illuminati who is starting to make a name for himself in Dubai between the white boards despite having a primarily SJ pedigree. Luminita has certainly been blessed with his immense movement, balance and expression. She is a very beautiful filly who is likely to make 17hh+ and is a darling in the stable, in hand and to work with at all times. She is sweet natured and very sensible.

GFS Amorina Ballerina - NOW SOLD is a buckskin and a yearling. She is an absolute stunner and moves beautifully. She has a wonderfully kind, intelligent and sensible attitude in hand, her manners are excellent and she is a darling to handle in all ways. She will make a lovely prospect as a future eventer or would also do well in dressage with her super movement and natural charisma. She always draws everyone's eye! She has outstanding Holsteiner bloodlines on her sires side. He is GFS Eskimo Jo (Paddy of Liosin x N-She's All) and Amorina is out of a homebred mare who we adore by GFS Lord of the Dance an unusually bred stallion with strong performance Akhal Teke x Russian Trakehner. He has sired Graded stallions and has many offspring in the US and EU. GFS Arabesque her dam is out of an Indoctro x Corland mare.

We have the utterly divine double dilute filly out of the same dam as Amorina Ballerina and is sired by GFS Fire and Ice whose offspring can be found on five continents and competing in numerous equestrian disciplines. These horses are values for their temperament, lovely movement, versatility, rideability and great beauty.

Last but certainly not least, we have the most amazing Diarado x Corland/Caratino Glory nine year old mare who is in foal to Baloutaire PS (Balout du Rouet x Chacco Blue) This mare is an absolute dream to handle, she is calm, loving and has manners to burn. She is a fantastic mother from conception to weaning and is a broodmare extraordinaire. Her first foal sold to a 5* eventer and her second foal and full sibling to the one due in 2027 sold within a week for five figures.

SOLD This is the very beautiful, fleet of foot, elegance personified and utterly captivating GFS Amorina Ballerina.
She is only a yearling, but is already showing some real class and quality. She is by the sadly departed GFS Eskimo Jo who carried some exceptional Holsteiner bloodlines and out of a home bred mare by GFS Lord of the Dance. I bred both her sire and dam and her dam sire. I also owned her granddam, by Indoctro and both her sire and dam sires fathers! These bloodlines bring athleticism, talent and superb temperaments and this beautiful filly is a wonderful example of the GFS breeding program.
She is very special and not only is she beautiful, but she is a kind, intelligent and lovely natured young horse. She is available to the best of homes where she is sure to bring a great deal of happiness and pride to her new owner x
