TBC Conversions

A special shoutout goes to two of our longest-serving team members, Glen Simons and Donatas Cerneckis! 👏

With 17 years of service from Glen and 18 from Donatas, both have been part of TBC for much of our history, helping us grow into the company we are today.

Thank you both for your hard work, commitment and everything you’ve contributed over the years. We’re proud to have you as part of the TBC team!

Yesterday, we brought the team together to celebrate 20 years of TBC Conversions. A brilliant afternoon celebrating our achievements and the people who made them possible!

We enjoyed delicious food from and with each team member receiving a special edition 20th anniversary jacket and umbrella to mark the occasion.

Our Managing Director, Donavon McKillen, and Terence Donnelly, Group Executive Chairman at Donnelly Group, shared a few words as we looked back on how far we’ve come and ahead to an exciting future.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our first 20 years. Here’s to the next 20!

Over the past 20 years, we’ve been proud to see TBC Conversions recognised for the quality of our vehicles, our innovation and the people behind them.

We received a Motability Supplier Award in 2012 and were shortlisted for Manufacturer of the Year at the 2022 AIB Awards and Excellence in Innovation at the 2023 Belfast Telegraph Business Awards. We were also recognised with an SME Employer Award in 2021.

TBC was one of the first companies to secure EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval for its Crafter and Sprinter minibuses, following rigorous testing to meet European standards. The continuous rear door seal on our wheelchair accessible Caddy Maxi was the first in the EU to receive a Letter of No Objection from Volkswagen. Today, we’re a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Integrated Partner.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this milestone, especially our incredible team. 👏

Today marks exactly 20 years since TBC Conversions was founded! 🎉

To commemorate this milestone, we’re taking a moment to recognise and thank the incredible team members who have helped us get to where we are today.

From a team of just 8 in 2006 to 90 employees today, a lot has changed over the past 20 years, but our people have always been at the heart of the company.

For the past 20 years, our customers have been at the heart of everything we do.

With an estimated 12,500 vehicles delivered to customers across the UK and Ireland.

We are especially proud that many of our earliest customers still return to us today. To everyone who has placed their trust in TBC Conversions over the years, thank you for being part of our journey. 💙

Our Sales Manager, Joanne Campbell, was delighted to supply the Southern Health and Social Care Trust with 17-seat Mercedes Sprinter wheelchair-accessible minibuses and Volkswagen Caddy wheelchair-accessible vehicles.

Receiving the new vehicles on behalf of the Trust was Rory Sharkey, Fleet & Operational Controller.

We’re looking forward to seeing these accessible vehicles go into service and would like to thank the Southern Health and Social Care Trust for their continued support and valued business!
