The Evanton Community Trust is a registered charity set up to develop new and improve existing amenities in and around Evanton.

Evanton Community Trust (ECT) was set up in February 2005 with the object of “developing new and improving existing community assets which will produce improvements in the local environment and lead to a stronger more vibrant community”. The ECT’s first project was taking over the ownership and management of the former aircraft hangar site in the village, securing funds to purchase and landscape with planting and convert it to a Green. Today, the ECT manages this attractive village amenity opposite the Coop making it available to local groups and organisations to use for outdoor events. In 2014, the ECT was strengthened with the appointment of new Trustees to continue and build on its work. We received funding to improve footpaths around the Village and to explore ways the future of the Old Kiltearn Parish Church, an important local historical site pre-dating the Reformation, can be safeguarded for future generations.

📣We are delighted to announce that the wonderful Mandy of Evanton Community Trust has managed to secured funding for a new safe and practical shelter for Trudy the Trishaw!
📣We are now on the hunt for a handy person who would be kind enough to assist us with the installation of the wooden base for the shed. The decking will be delivered by next Wednesday, so anytime after that would be ideal.
Please, if you have a couple of hours spare, get in touch 🙏
