Asbestos garage roof removed. Structure exposed. Next phase underway.
Following the licensed removal of asbestos cement roof sheets from this garage structure, the site was left stripped back and cleared for further planned works.
All asbestos cement materials were removed, transported and disposed of in accordance with current regulations, with the works carried out safely and compliantly throughout.
Projects like these are often the first stage in wider refurbishment, demolition or redevelopment programmes, helping ensure sites are properly prepared before the next phase begins.

These images were taken from one of our current commercial strip-out projects in South Oxfordshire, where our teams are safely dismantling and sorting materials for recycling.
At RJS Waste Management UK Ltd, recycling begins on site,not after collection.
Every phase of our work is carried out safely and legally, ensuring all materials are handled, transported and processed through the correct waste streams.
๐ฉ Timber, metals and plasterboard are separated and sent for recycling at licensed facilities.
โ ๏ธ Hazardous waste and asbestos are removed and disposed of safely and legally.

Historic bee activity isnโt something you see every day, but itโs not unusual in older soffits. The hive material was historic and long dormant, meaning no active bees were present, and nothing we did affected local bee populations.
Our Oxford team were asked to remove a run of cement-based soffits on this property, and once access was in place we could clearly see the level of deterioration and the dormant hive material that had built up within the voids. The team worked along the elevation, removing the damaged sections and clearing the voids so the structure is ready for the next stage of refurbishment.
Work like this is a good reminder that legacy buildings often hold more behind the faรงade than people realise, and having the right team on site keeps everything safe, legal and moving to plan.

A fully compliant removal of an asbestos-containing garage roof in West Sussex.
What you see here is the midway point of a controlled strip back. The asbestos sheets were safely removed, packaged, and sent to a licensed facility, leaving the structure open and ready for the next stage of works.
Jobs like this are a good reminder that even small outbuildings need the right approach when asbestos is involved. When handled correctly, the process stays smooth, predictable and compliant from start to finish.
