Social media , corruption, elitism and delusion have made the job of so many talented chemical creative artists unbearable.

Perfection doesn’t exist. Every head of hair has a billion moving parts different from the last. Every chemical colour service you carry out is an experiment with no guarantee of perfection . Every colour you create comes from your unique creative genius and is loathed by the voices of a billion strangers living in your phone holding you to impossible standards , impossible standards that may have took hold of your client too.

There so are so many women doing their best , living in struggle , hating their incredible skill and effort and genius because of a standard in society created by delusion .

This is magical but it isn’t magic .
It’s science X art . There’s rules and limits .

Be proud of everything you create no matter the outcome - because you ALWAYS do your best .

And you cannot do anymore .

And you cannot compete with delusion .

They get REAL mad at me for sharing ..the facts .

Before hairdressing become the modern machine and so called “industry” it is today . Still 90% female . Hair grooming was an intimate space carried out and passed down in communities between women .

Until they found themselves forced out .

In the 17th/18th century the “male takeover” became more dangerous to the women in it than ever before. They codified the business into legal guilds and banned women from joining or own independent shops . Male stylists fought in court to have their work referred to as “high art” while the women doing the same were legally relegated to cheap labour. Ew .

So of course the beginning of the industry we have now, the modern salon and product empires men held and already controlled all the power and wealth to build the infacture . And the control over where women could fit in their own creation. Di*****ds .

Many women still alive today , recently retired were even legally allowed to own a salon . We’ve only been allowed bank accounts for 50years.

Controlling someone’s power for your own gain - much like a playground bully . Is all built on fear and insecurity.

Now of course women in the industry are vile too . But this exact corruption allows those women power . Where in communities before this , they’d have wouldnt have been tolerated .

And if your a man getting angry at me because I’m talking about documented awful treatment by men toward women … you probably shouldn’t be working with them . Disgust and anger for your sisters is also an option.

This industry is still very much ran under the clock of this corruption and delusion . They just hope we won’t notice.

What if it’s less about looking externally for more wealth and beginning by looking where and why you’re leaking wealth already !

We’ve been taught to blindly spend and spend and means wealth .
Manifest the feeling of abundance by blindly emotionally spending .
That’s most it’s shame induced insecurity .
The need to be seen using the best for fear of criticism, the brainwashing that spending consciously is a poverty mindset .
There’s a reason the world’s billionaires still need more , it’s because sometimes more is never enough .
Understanding wealth is understanding yourself .
And I’m not telling anyone what brand to use, but I am telling you if you’re up s**t creek without a paddle you better start plugging those leaks not waste energy crying about it .
The shameless fear mongering around hair colour is exactly that SHAMELESS .
Would the most reputable wholesalers be selling it if it were so terrible ? NOPE . Would the HUGE shows and conventions allow those brands to showcase and the the stage it were ?

Don’t forget you’re paying for a huge amount of marketing , embassadors, endorsements and CEO bonuses.

That’s fine if you’ve got money to burn . But if you’re like me and my gals - living at the s**t end of the stick of inequality. It’s less than fine.

You’re a bloody smart woman , your mind is a powerful thing . But survival mode told you to beleive what kept you safe from shame . It’s time to say f*ck off to shame tactics and brainwashing designed to keep you powerless and a slave to inflation and consumerism .
Its time to take back control because not only is it possible . It’s way easier than they make you think .
