Wednesday 14th October we started out with a upper arm lion with two cubs design. Black and grey design with flowers left open to contrast the shading. This is going to added to in the future and extend up and down. It was a good start either way and a nice sized piece. The afternoon session was a quote on the ribs. I don’t need to say much about this one as it speaks volumes for itself.

Tuesday 13th October we started a very busy day with two very small tattoos on two friends which I didn’t get photos of unfortunately. These were little shrek ears and the top of his head. These afternoon session we a full spine design with a quote from the show vampire diaries. This was the clients own design so I had no hand in it other than changing the butterfly to a simplistic looking one to fit the design better. The quote I think is in Spanish but don’t quote me on that I have no clue really.
Last up to finish the day I lined out an entire upper arm design which is the start of a full sleeve. The upper arm has been lined and I’ve added some of the black areas ready for when the shading goes in. I’ll be adding deep shaded throughout the design to give it depth. Either side of the head I’m adding the colosseum and some other bits on the other side to fill it out fully. The lower arm will be started soon so I can bounce between the two with shading etc.

Saturday, Sunday not so funday and Monday all rolled in to one post.
Saturday we started out with two small designs. A pill design on the back of the arm in black and grey and the hand with stars. Each star is the clients children’s (x2)fingers. The rest of the day I was playing taxi to Manchester airport to fetch me eldest daughter the. Out for a few beers late on.
Sunday not so funday we did the lion design on the upper arm. This is a drawing done by the clients daughter a few years ago so we did an exact copy of it. The afternoon I ended up doing some work in the studio due to a no show. It’s work that was needed to be done so wasn’t to fed up by the no show.
Monday was back to a full day n the studio. Started the day adding colour to a sleeve I’m working on. No pictures for this one though. The afternoon we did the heart on the chest for a new client who had lost his wife. This design is one I knocked up for the client but we made a couple of changes before doing it. Black and grey shaded throughout. To finish the day we did a full black and grey hand rose design. Shaded throughout and in behind the rose.
Strong finish to the week with a solid start into the new week.

Rework and neck day yesterday. Started the day out with a rework of an old tattoo done elsewhere. Behind the ear was thick and the rest had faded out so I was asked to do what I could to make it all even and right. Safe to say it looks 100% better. With any tattoo I do I stand by it so if touch ups are needed then I will always do them free. Now I’ve reworked this one if it needs it again I’ve got him covered no trouble.
Next up was the double sided Chinese writing neck designs. Always fun having this client in as he just sits and laughs at me cos it tickles. Wish my tattoos tickled. One side says son the other brother. Last up was a cover/rework of a forearm design again done elsewhere. We went with the birthflowers and added swirls and dot shading throughout the design to finish it off.

Thursday has struck again. Started the day out with half of a mother daughter design. Half moon with flowers on the upper arm. Slight swelling to the upper section which will settle down. Dot shaded throughout the moon and leaf bits leaving the flower open as a contrast. Next up the small script design in the inner forearm climb the mountain in a nice script.
The early afternoon session we went full outer thigh Lilly design. Delicate shading throughout leaving a nice finish to this design. We have left enough room to extend or leave as is.
Last up the outer forearm matching design to the daughter one done in the morning session. Again dot shaded throughout and with this one we’ve added names of all the clients children aswell. Busy day and good one. Onto mad Friday where we have another busy day

Two today. Started the day out adding the final shading to the neck Chicano style design. This will soften considerably leaving a nice tone around the eye and making it look like the lower part of the face is painted. Next up the full calf dog lead knot with paw and nose print. This is for the clients recently passed pooch Roxy. The design was sent over by the client and I’ve just added the nose and paw prints from photos of them.

Monday and Tuesday incoming photo drop. Full upper arm lion flower with butterfly design. Black and grey shaded with dot work in the flowers. There’s a gap on the back of the lower arm But this is locked In already to do. Really nice design but was the second idea after we had to rethink things. There’s a cover up in there somewhere aswell. Next up two forearm designs done one for the clients Nan this is her actual finger print on a heart and then the wings with script and hand written from another clients Nan also. Two very meaningful designs done.

Sunday funday photo drop started out with the calf wolf design which was placed and sized to fit the calf fully and incorporate the rest of the lower leg design. The shading once healed will lighten nicely to blend with everything else. Next up the lower arm full 360wrap with Lilly’s butterfly and flowers. Dot shaded back ground leaving the flowers open. There’s some stars and other bits to add to fill the gaps but this is as far as we got.

Photo Dump before Sunday Funday. So starting out we have the matching atom designs. Slight difference in the two but the have the same autism colour scheme to them. Each has the 3 orbs a different colour also to represent certain members of their family.
Next up a fully healed picture of a DNA strand again with the autism colours. This has healed really well.
Up next the cancer ribbon. Pretty much says it all in one design.
To finish the photo dump and full outer forearm/upper arm design. This was lined up as straight as possible connecting to an existing wrist design and the shoulder. I don’t think could have got it any straighter. Nice clean line work with Dot shading throughout.
We go again Sunday with a jam packed day booked in.
