Did you know?

Lots of people don’t know this, but children don’t need to be able to read to have their eyes tested - they can have an eye test at any age, regardless of their ability to read or speak. Every child should get their eyes tested every year, or more if recommended by an eye health professional.

For more information and tips about how to look after your children’s eyesight, straight from RNIB’s trusted experts, download our free children’s eye health guide rnib.in/EyeHealthGuideForm

Stay safe.

***Automatic help restored for thousands on Universal Credit***
The amended regulations mean that, from 1 December, Universal Credit (UC) claimants will be auto-enrolled in the Help with Health Costs (HwHC) scheme if they meet one of two earnings tests:

No earnings or net pay of £435 or less in their last UC assessment period, or
No earnings or net pay of £935 or less if their UC award includes a child element, limited capability for work, or limited capability for work and work-related activity.

This should mean a lot less patients having to fill in that painful 23 page HC1 form.
Any questions just as myself before your next sight test.
