So me and my tiny partner in crime made a prop today. All set for my birthday sessions tomorrow and I cannot wait.

I would like to say Erin did most of the heavy lifting but she did enjoy using the hammer and nails on anything she could find 🫣.

We will get to the Halloween stuff next week. Give her little fingers and thumbs a break.

I’ve had so many siblings with small age gaps in recently, and I cannot get enough. The newborns experiencing everything for the first time, and those tiny toddlers whose whole world has changed overnight.

Still so little themselves, suddenly becoming someone’s big brother or sister. Wanting to be close, needing reassurance, feeling love and curiosity alongside feelings they don’t yet have the words for. Working out where they fit, and learning that there’s still a place for them in your arms.

There’s something so tender about watching them get to know this new little person, while they’re still so new to the world themselves 🤍

A little Christmas magic is coming to the wonderful new book store at The Old School.

Join us for a special festive photoshoot, where your little one can meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes and be gifted a wonderful book to take home. A story to enjoy together long after their visit, and photographs to treasure for years to come. ❤️

Your £75 package includes:

A relaxed 15–20 minute session with Santa
📸 Photographs on our festive backdrop
Three beautifully edited digital images
📚 A book worth around £9, chosen by your child from Santa’s (parents can either choose their childs favorite book prior to session or a book can be chosen for their age)

The package includes one child. Siblings are welcome for an additional £10 each, includes their own book and sharing the session with Santa.

I have just got news that because there was so much buzz about Santa visiting for sessions he wanted to do something extra special and combine the fun with an incredible new business....... For 1 extra date!!!!

Where is Santa going to pop up for some photos?

He came for cuddles, brought his own dribble and went straight in with a headbutt. She’s already got a two-finger response ready. 😂

There’s the same age gap between these two as there is between me and my big brother. I can’t possibly remember this stage, but somehow it all feels very familiar 🥹

Apparently “I love you” and “you’re annoying me” have always been part of the sibling cuddles. 🤍

From experience though they are going to have the best adventures together xx

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Linsey DL and her family since her children were tiny, so getting to capture this new chapter for her as one of the owners of this lovely bookshop felt extra special.

There’s so much warmth and character in this little shop, and it was a joy to photograph all the thoughtful details. Thank you for having me and for your lovely words about my photography 🤍

Getting double my fix today.

Two newborns booked in today one arriving a whole 7 weeks early... Obviously excited for their photo shoot.

I love that the weather is getting a little more cozy means heat is up in the studio and the autumnal tones get to creep into the shoots.

I love keeping the season involved with newborn photos as it gives you a nice memory of the time of year they are born.
