Find Your Future is making a real difference for young people across Burnley, helping them explore career options, connect with local employers and take their first steps towards their future.

Following last week’s event, feedback from pupils at Sir John Thursby showed just how valuable these opportunities can be. One pupil spoke about how meeting Ellie Kilbride and William Ogden from DRN had cemented her ambition to become a lawyer, while another was excited to share that he had spoken to QUEST Electrical Ltd, Scope Fire & Security Ltd and Speakman Contractors Ltd about his interest in becoming an electrician.

With more than 1,200 pupils attending, Find Your Future is a fantastic example of local businesses and education working together to inspire the next generation and showcase the career opportunities available right here in Burnley.

A huge thank you to all the businesses who took part and helped make a difference, and to Jo Norwood for organising such a worthwhile event. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
