CreativeFeel
Calligraphy workshops, creative kits & bespoke wedding stationery Alina is a hand lettering artist, living in the beautiful seaside town of Brighton.
Seeking a creative outlet she found calligraphy and fell in love with it immediately. Laying beautifully lettered inspirational quotes on the page helped her deal with her anxiety and gave her the confidence to start her journey with Creative Feel Designs in 2015.
“I’m a dreamer, adventure seeker and coffee lover. I love travelling, painting and creating. I believe that with a positive attitude and hard work, everybody can achieve their wildest dreams. I'm helping people learn calligraphy and it makes my heart sing when I see their beautiful projects after taking part in my classes''. We offer bespoke wedding stationery and have a shop of hand lettered greeting card and wall art collections. Alina has been teaching calligraphy since 2017 and have run many in person workshops in East Sussex and London. She also teaches regular online classes, which allow people to join in from all over the world and learn this wonderful skill! Each attendee gets a beautifully personalised kit prior to the class, which is packed with all the tools designed for beginners.

A little look at my week 🍂
It’s been a busy one, filled with teaching, creating and lots of lovely moments spent sharing my love of calligraphy with others. One of the best parts of teaching is seeing people grow in confidence and realise just how much they can do with a little practice.
We’ve had a lovely family day at the farm today, enjoying the autumn sunshine, walking across the fields, seeing all the animals and drinking freshly pressed apple juice. I’ve also been getting everything ready for tomorrow’s beginners brush pen workshop, including little pumpkin place cards 🍂
Hope you’re having a lovely weekend and manage to find a little time for some seasonal creativity, whatever that looks like for you 🧡

Hello letterers! ✨
I’ve been really enjoying seeing everyone’s go at these weekly prompts inside my new Lettering Nook community, so I thought I’d bring this one over to Instagram too!
Instagram now lets you share photos in the comments, so I’d love to see your versions. 😍 Let’s do this!
Beginners: Have a go at the baseline style, paying attention to letter balance and keeping your spacing as consistent as possible. Extend your entry and exit strokes to give your lettering a more complete look.
Improvers: Try the more stylised version, keeping your flourishes thin and wispy. Pay attention to the oval shapes as you construct your letters - these will help bring balance to your lettering.
Have a go with your favourite tools and share a photo of your work in the comments below. I’d love to see yours!
And if you’d love to take part in these weekly lettering prompts, come and join me inside Lettering Nook - my free lettering community (link in bio) ✨

I’ve been leaning into all the cosy autumnal creativity lately and I’m really, really loving it 🍂
Colourful autumn walks, mixing muted colours and painting moody florals, working on projects tucked away in my little workroom with a hot drink beside me, crocheting scrunchies and making handmade gifts with a snoring Cavalier by my side 🐶😂
And let’s talk about weekends.
Since April started school, weekends have suddenly felt like such a luxury. We’ve been trying to get outside as much as we can while we still have plenty of daylight - because I know once the clocks change at the end of the month, we’ll be losing so much of that afternoon light!
I’ve been really conscious about making sure the kids get as much fresh air and outdoor time as possible, so our weekends have pretty much become about getting out, walking, exploring and making the most of these autumn days.
I also had my little sourdough starter revolution 😂 I finally figured out how to feed it properly and get it all lovely and bubbly… so I’ve been spoiling the family (and neighbours!) with lots of freshly baked goodies. This has meant a lot of late evenings mixing dough for the next day and trying to get it just right. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t quite so stubborn! 😂
This week is a busy one too - a private workshop, two other classes, some lovely personalisation orders and lots of content creating for my Blooming Calligraphers membership. And honestly, creating all the content and coming up with new projects and ideas for the membership is something I still love doing so much.
And just a little thank you while I’m here. 🤎
I’m really grateful for all of you who follow along. I’ve always wanted this account to be more than just perfect calligraphy shots, so I hope you enjoy these little glimpses of the real-life bits too - the creative projects, the walks, the baking, the crochet and everything in between 😊
