The Poodle did not change colour, and yes, it is the same dog. The white was already there, under the dirt 🫣

Woolly coats hold on to dust, mud and oil deep in the curl, close to the skin. A light wash cleans the top and leaves the rest. So the coat looks dull, and the coat gets the blame. A quick check after the bath: part the curl and look at the root. If it is darker than the tip, there is still dirt in there.

Don’t blame the coat. Clean it all the way down.
