With over 18 years of mastering knowledge in the catering and hospitality industry I have decided to follow my dreams of leading a team of my own and setting up a business that exemplifies my expertise and style. My passion and love for food and food art (as I like to call it) have been the driving force behind my success. I was born and raised in Kos, a beautiful and quaint island in the Aegean Sea of Greece. Several of my favorite memories of my upbringing were that of my mother in the kitchen asking me to help her prepare meals and bake. Just thinking of it fills my senses with the sounds of laughter, the warmth of love and my mother’s oven and the intoxicating rich smells of her cooking. Each dish prepared for my family was so much more than a meal; it was love. When I use certain ingredients in my cooking today, I can almost see my father returning from our second home in the country side with bags full of freshly picked lemons, figs, oranges, eggs and more. He would humbly hand them to my mother taking in a large breath of air to smell the magic of her cooking and with a gratified exhale he’d lean in for a kiss letting her know how good it smelled. Our home was a chef’s paradise. We always had our own freshly picked fruits from the garden, we produced our own extra virgin olive oil, we used to have chicken and hens, rabbit’s, pigs, lambs and our seasonal vegetables. My longing for days like those are what I have created my business around. Establishing beautiful memories with every bite YOU take. Cooking is my therapy and there is nothing more gratifying to me then the smile each bite can deliver to a loved one. My home is my kitchen and my heart is in my creations. Take a meal with you and have dinner with me wherever you are.

After a loooong night working 🍋 TODAY’S SPECIAL: REST! 🍋
Apparently even lemons need a day to recharge… and today it’s my turn. 😴🍋
I’m not feeling my best, so Roasted Lemon will be CLOSED TODAY while I prescribe myself the highly sophisticated treatment of:
☕ tea
🛋️ sofa
😴 sleep
…and absolutely NO alarm clock.
Back soon, hopefully with my usual amount of zest. 🍋💛

What a night! ❤️
We’re so proud of our team and grateful to everyone who came along and made tonight such a success.
A lot of hard work went into bringing this together with The Bath Independent Pete Josef Splinters and SWIMWEAR — and we did it, together!
Tonight was a reminder of what a community can achieve when people show up for one another. Thank you for the invitation and for including us too. 🍋

A little note from us 🏳️⚧️💛🌈🍋🏳️⚧️
We’ve decided to change the photo on this post after a couple of people told us that the Harry Potter reference made them uncomfortable.
We never want anyone visiting Roasted Lemon, or following us here, to feel unwelcome or hurt, so we listened.
We’d also like to share the story behind the original photo, because there was absolutely no political message or endorsement intended. The Harry Potter cup belongs to a friend’s child who loves it, and he was incredibly excited about our new hot chocolate. He specifically wanted it served in his favourite cup for the photo, and we were very happy to make that little moment special for him. ❤️
Roasted Lemon is proudly a trans-safe and LGBTQ+ friendly space, and as owners who are ourselves part of the LGBTQ+ community, inclusion is something that genuinely matters to us. 🌈
Changing the photo doesn’t change the lovely story behind it. It simply means that if an image unintentionally makes some of our customers feel uncomfortable, we’re happy to listen and make a small change.
Everyone is welcome at Roasted Lemon. 🌈🍋🏳️⚧️
But if you think the rainbow flag and trans flag is just decoration, you may have misunderstood what “everyone” means. ❤️🏳️⚧️

After 94 hours of work last week, I think I’ll take that compliment and disappear into a bed full of pillows for a while. 😂🛏️

Vegan moussaka layered with a rich, hearty lentil, courgette and fresh tomato ragù, crowned with a luxuriously creamy, beautifully spiced potato purée. Made with the delicious fresh tomato sauce delivered earlier this week—what a wonderful way to have your lunch break!
