💜 A Lovely Afternoon at Connected Sundays! 🧠🌿

A huge thank you to all our wonderful families who joined us this afternoon for our Well-being Workshop. ✨️

A very special thank you to the brilliant Claudia Herman , Trauma-Focused Psychotherapist and author, for hosting such an interesting and engaging session.

Together, we explored how our brains work, understanding our emotions, how our bodies react to different feelings, self-acceptance and self-compassion. 🧠💭

Claudia helped us understand why we sometimes think, feel and react differently, and reminded us how important it is to be kind to ourselves and embrace what makes each of us unique. 💜

Thank you, Claudia, for sharing your knowledge and making these important topics so accessible and relatable for our younger children.

15 kilometres, 20+ obstacles and a whole lot of mud later… THEY'VE DONE IT!! 🎉👏💪

From crawling through muddy trenches and tackling electric shocks ⚡ to scaling slippery walls, squeezing through tunnels and battling their way through water, it was truly terrifying!

I honestly can't thank these guys enough for putting themselves through all of that today to support our families. I was genuinely chocked up and incredibly grateful to them both. 🥰

Fundraisers like these are so important to us as a small organisation. They keep us afloat 💜

🔎🧪 Connected Sunday got a little forensic today! 🧪🔎

Today we were joined by Xplore! Science Discovery Centre for a fascinating session exploring the science of forensics. 🕵️‍♀️

We had a go at face reconstruction and explored the science of fingerprints — with lots of curious minds getting involved and putting their detective skills to the test! 👀🔍

A huge thank you to Xplore! for another brilliant, hands-on and inclusive session. 💜
