Ruff Cuts

✨ BIG NEWS: We’ve Rebranded! ✨

Say hello to our fresh new look! As I bring my grooming business back home to my original salon space in Aviemore, I felt it was only right to give Ruff Cuts a brand-new look to match this exciting new chapter. ✂️🐾

Our new logo features two very special familiar faces! I wanted something that felt personal, warm, and true to what this business is all about—providing dedicated, one-on-one care for your beloved pups in a calm and friendly environment.

Nothing about the quality of care or service is changing—just a shiny new logo, a familiar location, and the same passionate grooming you’ve always known.

We’re Back! ✂️🐾 Ruff Cuts Returns to Aviemore!

Hello everyone!

I am so excited to announce that I am moving my full-time grooming business back to where it all began at Ruff Cuts!

While I’ve been busy grooming at Canine Manor, I’ve made the decision to step away from running the daycare and bring my grooming work back to my original salon space. It's a location change, but my focus remains exactly the same: providing dedicated, one-on-one grooming in a calm, welcoming environment.

Whether your pup needs a full styled haircut, a gentle bath and deshed, or just a quick tidy-up and pamper, I can’t wait to welcome both my regular grooming clients and new furry faces onto the table in Aviemore.

Hey everyone, it’s Kayla here!
I’ve got a little update to share, and it’s a good one.

As most of you know, I’ve been running both Ruff Cuts Grooming and Canine Manor Doggie Daycare & Grooming all by myself for a while now. I absolutely love what I do, but juggling two separate names has been… well, a bit chaotic behind the scenes!

So I’ve decided to bring everything together under one name: Canine Manor.
Same me, same scissors, same cuddles, same dogs who pretend they don’t know what a bath is — just all in one place.

Nothing is changing with your appointments, your dog’s routine, or the way I work. This is simply me tidying things up so it’s easier for all of us.

Thank you so much for supporting me and trusting me with your pups. It means the world.
If you’re not already following the Canine Manor page, come join me over there — that’s where all updates, photos, and chaos will be from now on!

🐾 Hey lovely humans! 🐾
I hope you all had the best New Year ! Yes, I’m late to the party, but so is half the dog population when you call their name, so I’m in good company.
Just a wee heads‑up that from February 1st, most of my services will have a small price increase of around £5. This helps me keep giving your pups the pampering, cuddles, and chaos‑management they deserve.
And honestly… THANK YOU. Every single one of you! New faces, long‑timers, and the dogs who still pretend they’ve never met me, you’re the reason Ruff Cuts is turning FIVE YEARS OLD this year. Five years of fluff, fun, and fur in my mouth.
Here’s to another year of waggy tails, glow‑ups, and dogs judging me while I sing to them. 💛🐶✨

Hello!! Just a wee post to say that from today I will be implementing a matting charge. This will be applied to any groom that requires me to shave due to matting on the dogs body. This charge is due to the toll shaving has on my blades leading to me needing more frequent sharpening services, these are not only costly but limit the amount of work I can take on while my blades are away. I hope you can all understand ❤️❤️

P.S I still have scattered availability before I am away on holiday so pop me a message if you’re needing your pup in and we can get it booked asap! 🥰💕

Hello, just a quick update on me and why I've been so bad at replying!! I haven't been too well recently and I am currently up in Raigmore hospital with a wee kidney infection.

Please bear with me in regards to answering messages and phone calls. I will absolutely get back to everyone as soon as I'm on the mend!

Lots of love and fluffy hugs to you all, and I hope we're all enjoying the weather sensibly
