Jesus rose again on the third day. He is alive.

His resurrection shows that he is who he said he was - the Son of God.
His resurrection shows that his death in the place of those who have put their faith in him achieved its aim - to make them right with God, to bring them life to the full now and eternal life forever with him.

What's GOOD about Good Friday you might ask?

On the cross, Jesus was punished by God the Father for our rebellion. In our place Jesus' blood was shed to bring us forgiveness. This is so good for us as it brings us salvation, hope, and peace with God if we put our faith in Jesus.

We're looking forward to our Bible Weekend this weekend. Bill James, the Principal of London Seminary is our speaker.
