A little bit about why I’m running the London Marathon…
Many of you know me as your chiropractor, but there is a part of my story that I don’t often talk about.
Running the London Marathon has always been something I’ve wanted to do, but this year it means so much more than simply completing 26.2 miles.
The photo I’ve shared is one of the last pictures I have of my mum, which makes it incredibly special to me.
When I was 10 years old, I lost my mum to su***de. It’s something that has shaped so much of who I am and the way I see the world. While it’s not something I usually share openly, I felt it was important to explain why this challenge means so much to me.
My mum was a midwife and spent her life caring for others. She was incredibly kind, generous and devoted to my brother and me. Looking back, I often wonder how different life might have been if she had received the support she needed herself.
That’s why mental health is a cause that is so close to my heart.
Every day in practice I meet people carrying far more than just physical aches and pains. One of the things I love most about being a chiropractor is getting to know people beyond their symptoms, because our health is about so much more than what’s happening physically. Mental and physical wellbeing are so closely connected, and sometimes the people who spend their lives caring for others, or who appear to be coping the best, are the ones silently struggling the most.
Training for a marathon is challenging in every sense. I’m fortunate to have an incredible team of chiropractors and physiotherapists around me to help keep my body in the best shape possible, but the miles, the discipline, the early mornings, the setbacks and the determination to reach the finish line are all part of the journey.
I’m running this marathon in memory of my mum and to help raise funds for better mental health support, in the hope that more people can access the help they need before it’s too late.
If sharing my story encourages just one person to reach out for help, or reminds someone that they don’t have to face their struggles alone, then being vulnerable about something so personal will have been worth it.
If you would like to support me, no matter how big or small the donation, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation will help fund vital mental health services and support for those who need it most.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for supporting me, for remembering my mum with me, and for helping make a difference.

Well… I’ve only gone and got myself into the London Marathon. 😅🏃🏼♀️
It’s been about three years since I ran my half marathon, and I haven’t done any long-distance running since. Safe to say I’ve got a bit of work to do!
Running a marathon has always been on my list though, so I figured if not now… when?
I actually think the biggest challenge won’t be the running itself. It’ll be everything that comes with it. Getting out when it’s raining. Running when I’m tired. Staying consistent when motivation disappears. That’s the bit that really interests me.
I’ve always believed we all need something to work towards. A goal that makes you a little uncomfortable. Whether it’s your health, your business, your relationships or something completely personal, having a challenge gives you direction and reminds you what you’re capable of.
So… here we go. Time to stop talking about it and start training. If you see me hobbling around the clinic over the next few months, you’ll know why. 😂
London Marathon… let’s do this! 💙🏅
If you have any tips for survival let me know! 🤣

One of my favourite parts of running a business is building a team of genuinely great people.
This week we swapped the adjusting rooms and treatment rooms for axe throwing and archery, and it was so much fun! 🪓🏹
We were missing Elle, who is recovering from a broken elbow (definitely not from the axe throwing! 😂), and Aman, who is getting ready to welcome her baby boy into the world very soon. 💙 You were both missed.
Congratulations to Ollie for taking the win in the archery! 🏹
As for the axe throwing… the girls are all in agreement that we won! 😉🪓
Running a business isn’t just about looking after clients. It’s also about looking after the people who make the business what it is. I’m incredibly grateful for the team we’ve built. They work so hard every single day, care deeply about our clients, and make coming to work something I genuinely look forward to.
Days like this are a reminder that taking time to laugh together, celebrate each other, and create memories outside the clinic is just as important as everything we do inside it.
Feeling very grateful. ❤️

🐾 Murphy came to us after a shoulder injury left him uncomfortable and restricted. After a series of treatments, he was back to running around pain free!
We're grateful to be part of Murphy's journey and to support both him and his older brother with ongoing chiropractic care.

This is Belle 🐶
When she first came to us, she was dealing with shoulder stiffness and lameness.
Now, she’s moving more freely, feeling more comfortable… and always excited for her visits (especially the treats 🐾✨)
This is Moni. 💚
She first came to see us because she was experiencing lower back pain and was worried about losing her independence, as she lives on her own.
Since then, Moni has made her health a priority. She now comes in once a month for wellness care — similar to how you’d have regular check-ups with your dentist — to keep her body moving and functioning well.
Her goal has always been to maintain her independence and continue living life on her own terms, and it’s been a privilege to support her along the way.
Moni has now been part of our clinic family for 6 years, and we’re so grateful for the trust she’s placed in us. 💫
This is Hugo 🐾
Hugo is a rescue dog who came in because he was very stiff and struggled to sit comfortably.
Since starting care, he’s now able to sit again and is much less stiff. He’s doing really well and making great progress!
We love seeing our furry patients feeling more comfortable and moving better 💚
