On the 3rd of June we posted about Dogs being in the Bunkers , well today a woman with a Lab was confronted with her dog in one of the Bunkers at the 5th , she told one of the volunteers to “ sod off “ , when he went in to Rake the Bunker the dog had done a 💩, this is totally unacceptable.

Congratulations to the Aberfeldy Seniors Open winner Paul Hampton with a score of 37 beating Donald Johnson who came 2nd with a score of 36 , many thanks to Captain Charlie Thom.

Great turn out for the last coaching session in our spring /summer block.

Well done to Killin ladies who won the Tay Valley trophy this year.
5 shots less than Aberfeldy in 2nd place.

Killin, Dunkeld , Strathtay, Kenmore, Dunkeld and Birnam and Aberfeldy all took part in the team event on Saturday.

Thanks to Ally and all the volunteers who helped to get the course in amazing condition.

The 25 Ladies were very complementary of the course, especially the short rough & lovely white bunkers.
(Although they did lose a lot of balls in the burn )

On Monday our Volunteers shovelled 20 tons of Sand into the Bunkers , we had a competition today and we cannot express our Anger and disappointment with the dog owners of Aberfeldy! Every bunker is totally messed up due to dogs being in them , respect the course , it is a private course owned by the Club ! Use the paths and keep your dogs out of the Bunkers and off the Greens !

Due to the Ladies Tay Valley competition being hosted by Aberfeldy Golf Club this year the Course will be closed to the public from 10am till 4pm this coming Saturday 6thJune.
