Daeth Yr Awr!! The time has finally arrived!! The shop has shut it's door for the last time, and retirement is just around the corner! After 53 years, 13 of those with me at the helm, I want to thank all my amazing customers, many who are now friends, for all your support during my time and mum's running the wool shop at Birmingham House. Thank you for all the kind gifts, cards and well wishes. It's time for me now to enjoy the next chapter in my life, and hope you will transfer your loyalties just down the road to

Well, after a well deserved weekend away (again!!!) following the first two hectic weeks of 2026 its time to announce to the big wide world that retirement for me is now very much on the horizon, and the last selling day for will be Saturday 28th February!! (Yaaaaaaaay!)
So, all my lovely, supportive customers can now come and stock up with 20% off everything in the shop, but remember when its gone its gone!!
(If anyone's got gift vouchers or full loyalty cards you need to get a move on to get them redeemed!!!)

On a regular basis I hear from customers that running a wool shop would be their dream job - if you are someone who fits that bill, this just might be for you. Rosemary's Wool Shop first opened in 1973 so is well established. Rosemary retired in 2013 when I took over but I'm now ready for the next chapter and am looking to retire in March 2026 (if not before). A sale had been agreed but has fallen through so if you want it, please dont waste any time doing something about it as I have now stopped replacing stock. Aberaeron is a beautiful place to live and has recently undergone massive sea defence works to protect our town for years to come.
