Your production line runs smoothly until tool wear starts disrupting your efficiency. Hard materials like titanium, nickel-based superalloys, or hardened steels push conventional cutting tools to their limits. The result is frequent tool replacements, unpredictable quality, and costs that spiral out of control. For high-volume production, this isn’t just an inconvenience. It’s a direct hit to your bottom line.

What if you could machine these materials without any tool wear, no matter how hard or abrasive they are?

PECM (Precise ElectroChemical Machining) removes material through anodic dissolution in an electrolyte, with zero mechanical contact. The cathode shapes the workpiece while the electrolyte carries away dissolved material. Since there is no physical interaction between tool and workpiece, there is no wear, no deformation, and no compromise in precision. Even after thousands of cycles.
For CTOs and production managers, this means:

No tool replacement costs: Eliminate the need for frequent tool changes, reducing both direct costs and downtime.

Predictable quality: Achieve consistent results across every batch, with no variation due to tool degradation.

Extended tool life: The cathode in PECM does not wear out, allowing for long-term, uninterrupted production runs.

Material flexibility: Machine titanium, Inconel, hardened steels, and other challenging materials with the same reliability.

PECM is not just a machining method... it’s a strategic advantage. By removing tool wear from the equation, you gain stability, reduce operational costs, and free up resources for innovation rather than maintenance.

Tool wear disrupting your production? Send us your most challenging part geometry and we will demonstrate how PECM can transform your process.

What if you could machine the most complex geometries in a single step, with no compromises on precision or quality?

PECM (Precise ElectroChemical Machining) makes it possible. By dissolving material electrochemically, PECM can produce the most intricate geometries with ease. There is no mechanical contact, so there is no tool wear, no deformation, and no need for multiple setups. Whether it’s internal features, micro-structures, or complex 3D shapes, PECM delivers where traditional methods fall short.

With PECM, you gain:

Single-step precision: Machine complex geometries without multiple setups or secondary operations, reducing production time and costs.

Unmatched accuracy: Achieve tight tolerances and fine details with consistent, repeatable quality.

Design freedom: Realize geometries that were previously considered unmachinable, unlocking new possibilities for innovation and performance.

Complex geometries limiting your production? Send us your most challenging design. We’ll show you how PECM can turn it into reality.

Most manufacturing challenges don't start with bad design.
They start with the machining process.
Burrs. Tool wear. Surface finishing. Process instability. Long lead times.
These challenges increase manufacturing costs long before the finished part reaches your customer.

At IMTS 2026, discover how PECM (Precise ElectroChemical Machining) helps manufacturers rethink precision machining.

✔ Burr-free machining directly in the process
✔ Surface finishes down to Ra 0.015 µm
✔ No mechanical tool wear
✔ No heat-affected zone or recast layer
✔ Multiple parts machined simultaneously for higher productivity
✔ Stable, repeatable processes for demanding geometries and materials

Whether you're manufacturing medical devices, aerospace components, tooling, or precision parts, PECM can help simplify your process chain while improving quality and production stability.

Bring us your toughest geometry. Let's discuss what's possible with PECM.

Your machining process is done. But the real work has just begun.
Burrs are an inevitable byproduct of mechanical machining, whether milling, turning or drilling. They require additional deburring steps, which add time, cost and risk to your production.

What if you could eliminate burrs at the source without adding a single step?
PECM (Precise ElectroChemical Machining) dissolves material electrochemically, without mechanical contact. The result: clean, sharp edges, even in complex geometries. No secondary deburring operations. No extra tools or labor. Just consistent, burr-free parts, regardless of batch size or material hardness.

The workpiece is shaped by anodic dissolution in an electrolyte. The cathode defines the geometry, while the electrolyte flushes away dissolved material. No cutting forces, no burrs.

Edge quality achieves typical radii of around 10 µm, with less than 1 µm possible for specialized applications. It works on titanium, nickel alloys, hardened steels and other difficult-to-machine metals. Most importantly, it is effective for internal features, cross-holes and micro-structures where mechanical deburring fails.

Burrs slowing down your production? Send us your part’s geometry and we will show you how PECM can cut this step entirely.
